Hey there, so first of all, i did all as it was mentioned in installation guide, even run the patch. When game launched, it looked fine, i could see the logo of Payne Evolution, and then after loading, i'd say like 80% done, it crashed and throwed error message - ( Exception in engineInit:Message translation in file "\data\database\Projectiles\Last_Stand_Death.txt" failed:
Undefined string identifier "HUDPRINT_PRESS_F9_TO_LOAD_CENTER" in file "StringTable.txt" ), any suggestions what should fix my problem? Also i've noticed that ''Last Stand Death.txt'' isn't even in my game directory...

Hi, have you downloaded the latest full version of the mod right?
The file is packed in the .mp2m archive that the engine can open and use its files as if they were unpacked in your game dir (exactly in the path that the error says), this is the default behaviour of the MP engine for managing mods.
Along with the file mentioned in the error there's included also the StringTable.txt that actually have the needed string written in it. So apparently your game reads one file but not the other, for some reason, that is external to my mod though (otherwise it would crash for everyone).
Do you have a "data" folder in the same folder of your MaxPayne2.exe? If so try to temporarly move it somewhere else and run the mod again, it shouldn't be there in a clean installation of the game and can cause this kind of problems.
If this doesn't work I can only suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the game, and retry with a new download of the full mod (just to avoit corrupted MP2 installations and corrupted mod archives).

Yes exactly, even if I made the damage of the use/takedown is incredibly low some objects are still destroyed, probably the Remedy mapper didn't even gave them a health value but only a undamaged/destroyed state, so... :S

Hey, I've been playing the mod for a few days now and it's really enjoyable. For me however, a major thing that vastly degrades my experience is the bullet cam showing every few enemies I kill.

It disrupts my flow and I would much rather have it off at all times. Is there a way to turn it off?

Hi, sadly there's no way to easily turn them off completely, you can quickly skip them like you skip the cutscenes, or you can simply not kill with an headshot the enemies that you rememmber triggers the killcam. :)

I'm surprised at the things you were able to do with the Original Engine, and how you were able to get a functioning bullet time system and gun handling system like that of Max Payne 3. I like the little things in the mod, like how you can drink bottles of Kong Scotch and have that 'drunk' effect. Also how Max has periodical flashbacks in certain situations. The "Dead man Walking" feels just like Arcade mode in MP3, and that you took bits from other mods you made like Payne Effects 3 and Max Payne…
