I hope Mona Sax, Vlad, and the other characters are hacked from the MP3 version! It would be so much better if those models were here!

Would also be a waste of time in my opinion, just get the higher ressed textures for them and you're set.

If I were you, I would put those very detailed models from MP3 in order to make this mod feel as close to MP3 as possible.

Nope, if you were in me you would know how much effort all this work would take and agree that considering that even the best result possible would be a negligible improvement it is not worth it and will be mostly a waste of time and resources. ;)

I know you're trying to help, but all you're doing is annoying and pestering the author of this mod.

Could possibly make a trailer to give us a taste of how awesome this mod is gonna be?? You dont have to but it would be greatly appreciated by many others too :)

As soon as everything will be ready to be shown I will publish a trailer, but for now I still have to finish some "visual" things (like for example the MP3 style shootdodge animations) so if I record a trailer right now it wouldn't portray the mod at his best.

PS: Anyway I have some cool news, as you can see from the latest screenshot I almost finished implementing the Hoboken Max model ported straight from MP3, it's around 35000 polygons with 2048x2048 textures and still the MP2 engine (year 2003) handles it like nothing happened, awesome.

So you're adding various things from Max Payne 3? Awesome. I actually was thinking about trying to make a remake of Max Payne 1 on the MP3 game but I lack very much.

I'm surprised at the things you were able to do with the Original Engine, and how you were able to get a functioning bullet time system and gun handling system like that of Max Payne 3. I like the little things in the mod, like how you can drink bottles of Kong Scotch and have that 'drunk' effect. Also how Max has periodical flashbacks in certain situations. The "Dead man Walking" feels just like Arcade mode in MP3, and that you took bits from other mods you made like Payne Effects 3 and Max Payne…
