Hi The_Silver! I have question. What changes did you bring to the ragdolls compared to Payne Effects 3? They appear even better in Payne Evolution. Yet I compared the High Detail Ragdoll file of both mods and couldn't find any difference except for bullet impulse. How come that in PE, the ragdolls appear to be heavier, less rubbery and cast smoke puffs when falling on the ground?

Hi, I see you've done your math! :D The lower bulletimpulse already makes a lot of difference: it makes the ragdolls feel heavier, the bullethit reaction more realistic, and allows them to keep the momentum of the pre-death anim resulting in more human-like deaths. This combined with the overall slightly lower bulletdamage of the weapons gives to the ragdolls a heavier behaviour and less rubbery movements. ;)
The smoke puffs happens only for the heavier falls and should be present on the ragdolls of both mods afaik, it's a feature of the vanilla game afterall. :)

However I have to respectfully decline your offer, besides the fact that I don't have any practical "money account" there's the fact that I enjoyed a lot creating all my mods, I do this because I like it, it makes me feel good, accomplished maybe, and knowing that there's people that likes my work and have fun with my mods is the icing on the cake, I don't need anything else! :D

Thanks, I hope you will enjoy it! :) Sadly it's impossible to port most of the features due to the little but significant differences of engine version between MP1 and MP2, so it's not worth working on that IMHO. :S

Yep, besides the fact that my selectable MP2 skin still have higher resolution textures, I don't like the "soap opera face" of Timothy Gibbs for Max Payne, it doesn't fit at all with the character IMHO, so it's much better to stick with James McCaffrey. :)

I'm surprised at the things you were able to do with the Original Engine, and how you were able to get a functioning bullet time system and gun handling system like that of Max Payne 3. I like the little things in the mod, like how you can drink bottles of Kong Scotch and have that 'drunk' effect. Also how Max has periodical flashbacks in certain situations. The "Dead man Walking" feels just like Arcade mode in MP3, and that you took bits from other mods you made like Payne Effects 3 and Max Payne…
