Long ago, when the word 'Hiigara' rang only as a hollow dream, the kiith of Kharak never imagined they would walk the Path to Victory. But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.

If you're going to have a video, it would have been nice to have...video. Heh. The stills look great though, anxious for the next release.

I put it up more for the music than the video... I'm afraid i can not record on my PC as it kills the poor laptop.

Not at the moment, though I may write something very similar into the campaign story when I have the time. Nice idea (if indeed it was an idea)! ;)

It was, I'm oblivious in regards to this video. I mean, it makes for a great battle scenario...

I'm all for it - makes logical sense too. Raiders are coming, defend hiigara... could be the first 1-2 missions or so.

I want a campaign for the vaygr! not an other one for the hiigarans!
Actually I'm fine with any campaign for anyone but the hiigarans...

Honestly, me too xD

Actually, I was thinking of making more single scenarios than a full campaign. You'd play different battles with different races that describe the story of Path to Victory. Obv. playing them in sequence gives you the best idea but wont be necessary.

Clicking the Scenarios button makes it crash :l
Once, for a few days, it let me play the first campaign but then crashed in random places. The farthest I got was when the carrier was damaged and reinforcements arrived. But at the same time, other things with the mod were different as well. Researching the Naabal tech didn't give me a free shipyard, and the vaygr hyperspace beacon wasn't auto-scuttled after building a flagship. So... are the scenarios in construction or something?

Battle platform? I have never ever seen that and I'm pretty sure it's up to date. What have I missed!?

Description

With the Kadeshi pretty much complete save for some minor details, I'm moving on to reworking the Turanic Raiders.

There are not many changes planned. Mostly the polish revolves around finishing the Black Market upgrades and building a stable tech tree that rewards capturing and destroying enemy ships.

More will be announced as the Tech Tree nears completion. Don't expect too many changes to the Raider Gameplay. What you can expect is a fully playable race that's really fun to use but requires some getting used to.
