Long ago, when the word 'Hiigara' rang only as a hollow dream, the kiith of Kharak never imagined they would walk the Path to Victory. But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.

Description

Warlord he may be but the man is known as a refined person with a shrewd tactical mind. Not that this makes him any less inclined to love large explosions of course.

Leading by example is his motto and a great example he sets! Known throught the Vaygr Reaches and far beyond, Vekur is the kind of man you'd want when it gets dirty.

Favoring direct assault but not incapable of the more subtle tactical maneuvers, Vekur is a warrior by the code. All the same, his vocabulary does include the word 'retreat' and it is often used... just before smashing enemy capital ships to bits with a barrage of 'Doombringer' Fusion Missiles.

And the last thing you'll be hearing today about Path to Victory's new Vaygr system (don't worry, more to come).

This guy, Vekur, is part of the new hero system the Vaygr will be getting. Heroes aren't much different than normal ships but they offer a number of bonues to allied ships and are tough as nails.

However heroes don't just join any fight. You have to prove that your fleet is worthy of their presence. Of course different heroes provide different bonuses and can be used in different ways.

But forget the mechanics, they're in for the cool - and that they are. Thank you to IPS for the excellent model rework and texture!
