Long ago, when the word 'Hiigara' rang only as a hollow dream, the kiith of Kharak never imagined they would walk the Path to Victory. But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.

They're described briefly in the - Repent! Confess! - news post; still working on a final tech tree so I cant post that yet. Think of them as talent points (Like in World of Warcraft or similar)

The "talents" idea is a very interesting feature. I really like it.
The ship....well it's overshadowing ** (shining eyes)

Note on the side missile launchers: They target directonally. For best effect, dump the Templar in the middle of a frantic fight. Fighters, Corvettes and Frigates will die eventually.

To explain the "Points" more exactly:

You have three TechTrees with three levels each. You have 4 points you can distribute at free will. Some Combos get special Bonusses, while other Combos just work incredibly well together.

Hmm, very nice. Show us also the other angles, those you've Photoshoped into the mystery pictures before. This looks good, but we would like a more complete image of how does the ship really look like.

In my opinion none of the Kadesh ships should look like the needleship (needleship excluded). However this looks pretty darn cool.

Description

To lift a week old mystery: The ship is yet another rework of the Templar.

Now far more useful than it used to be, the Templar has changed from a long range support to a front line assault ship. Despite lacking armor, 16 small missile tubes along the sides and four large missile tubes at the front make this a very deadly ship to fight.

Furthermore subsystems can be built onto the Templar:

- Standard: Electronics Dome (offers sight range)
- 2 Points Kadesh: Inquisition Dome (weakens enemy ships)
- 3 Points Sajuuk: Fangs of Sajuuk (powerful suicide drones)

Also, the Templar's main weapons can be upgraded if a player invests 3 Points in Kadesh tech. This upgrade, named the Spears of Kadesh, unlocks hypervelocity missiles for use against capital ships. Flying far faster than most anti-capship weapons, the Spears of Kadesh deal incredible damage but suffer from issues hitting smaller targets due to their incredible speed.

Regardless of the Tech Choices made by the Kadeshi player, the Templar is now your key capital ship which can assist the Swarm in a number of ways.
