Long ago, when the word 'Hiigara' rang only as a hollow dream, the kiith of Kharak never imagined they would walk the Path to Victory. But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.

Keeping with tradition, the Harbinger, which is considered a cruiser, will gain modular weapon choices. For the Keepers of Amun, this means a choice between a Plasma Battery or a Phased Ion Battery.
The difference between these weapons systems is in their use. The Plasma Battery can quickly disable a target, allowing the main cannon to be used more efficiently, while the Ion Battery deals considerably more damage to its targets but can't disable them.
Furthermore, the Keeper of Amun Harbinger has a slight visual update (and the obvious remaps). It is also worth noting that the Harbinger is considered a long range ship and can compete with Hiigaran Battlecruisers and Vaygr Cruisers in terms of long-range firepower. However, the Harbinger is also a combat ship, capable of sustaining incredible damage before its hull gives way.
