Long ago, when the word 'Hiigara' rang only as a hollow dream, the kiith of Kharak never imagined they would walk the Path to Victory. But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.
The second new model compare, this time the Heavy Swarmer remake. This ship is now built off the swarmer chassis but with a heavier gun pod with plasma cannons in it. Also very slightly more heavily armored than the default swarmer.

I like the "jaws" (that was what I couldn't recognize sooner), I like how "compact" does it look now.

I changed the guns slightly to more resemble my original model. There's a screenshot in the RN thread.
The original kinda reminds of a 'Smurf' Interceptor from SGU, both are very good versions!
The 2nd has a more "agressive" feel... I like it...

I saw your post on relicnews, good to see you solved the tooth problem :) . The first try reminds me somewhat of a fish. If you retextured it could probably serve for either of the classic sides, adding a top fin in taiidan style.
