Long ago, when the word 'Hiigara' rang only as a hollow dream, the kiith of Kharak never imagined they would walk the Path to Victory. But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.
The Empire is at war! Even the lowliest of hiigaran citizens now realize their empire is threatened. Earlier today the Hiigaran 3rd Patrol Fleet was ambushed near the notorious Molten Ore asteroid fields. Official sources state there were no survivors. All those who surrendered were ritually executed by a Marked of Sajuuk Warfleet which is said to be rapidly moving deeper into Hiigaran Space.
In light of these events Hiigaran High Command has announced that they will be re-organizing their fleet structure in future to better deal with the rapid increase of aggression on all fronts. Exactly what these structural changes within the Defense Fleets hierarchy entail is not yet clear. We will however be keeping all our fellow citizens as up to date as possible.
