What is the HL: PARANOIA?
Paranoia - it is a our single-player modification for Half-life. You will play the role of a russian officer of the secret service. Your first impressions are that this mission will be just like any other, but you really have no idea what nightmares future events have in store for you...
Features:
- The unique game universe with the interesting characters and own story line.
- Levels based on the references taken from the real russian architecture and enviroment.
- New visual effects (bump mapping, gloss, detail textures, 3D sky etc).
- Improved AI of the enemy and friendly NPC.
- Improved aiming system (Iron Sight)
- Music from the famous Russian rock band named "SLOT" and our own tracks in "dark ambient" style.
- Subtitles system in russian and english languages.

The HOT QUESTION about SAFE PLAY: I've heard that playing your mod is a big risk for my STEAM account. The playing PARANOIA online can make my STEAM account banned by VAC. Is that true?
Answer: The anticheating services WILL NOT BAN YOUR ACCOUNT IF YOU PLAYING OUR MOD ONLINE. The VAC will detect opengl32.dll as a cheat in case if you will try to play another HL1 mod (CS1.6 for example) online on the server with VAC protection. We have NO PRECEDENT that some account was banned, because VAC just prevent you from playing on the server with anticheating protection. If you want to play online with other HL1 mods, just delete opengl32.dll file (or replace it to other detectory), but don't forget to put it back when you want to play PARANOIA. Without opengl32.dll in the Half-Life folder, the new graphic effects in PARANOIA will not be available.

Finally! All development works on our project is done!
At the final week until the mod's release we will continue polishing our mod with our testers to make the game more perfect. Today our mod's gallery was totally updated! This is a freshest screens from the final version!
Of course we dont want to make a spoilers, that's why we keep in secret most screens of the levels in horror theme.

This mod show that, The team behind it really have the "feeling" about horror and story and fun. It would be nice to see another "Paranoia" for Source. Not saying "Paranoia 2", But maybe something like it, with same weapons and Puzzle?
If I remember correct- Gave Paranoia 9 of 10, Because it was a bit short for my taste (But its good that u didnt do like a 100 feet long cave just to make the game longer), And 10 of 10 for me isnt "Best Mod ever". When i give a mod/game 10 of 10 it means (for me), no need to do better.
If u like Single player, Action, Horror, Puzzle and more:
Paranoia!! A mod that every one with HL1 Should try!
And: Very great 2D art, Graphic and Sound (Voice and others)
I understand if your not going to continue this exact mod, with the same storyline and everything, but if you do make another mod please say its going to be another half life 1 mod, that plays and feels just like this one.
We are not planing a new mod for the HL1 engine. But yes, we are thinking about the new project for the Source engine. ;)

Please, make Paranoia 2 :D This game is fun (i like the music) but it's too short: it take me only 2 hours to complete the game (really!).
