I think this is the first pic of the resource ever, other than that its just more progress on the mod.
Whats in this update is the small Tritanium extraction station and some tritanium for you to look at.
All is still WIP especially the tritanium.

Funky colouring. I might suggest decreasing the contrast a bit, as it looks a bit too much right now =/
Yea you are right it needs to be decreased. Need to get some effect on it too. Like reflective surface or something.
Maybe try to create a shine over it, like the electricity on the powerplants.

I agree on lowering the constrast. Apart from that, I like it. If the goal was to make it look alien, the colour is fitting.
Also, you thought wrong about this being the first image of the resource. 5th oldest image in your mod gallery.
