A fast paced, easy to jump into and play Capture the Flag modification for Half-Life 2.

Enjoy six different archetypes of weapons from magnums to fully automatic rifles while blasting the poor soul who decided to wear a different color than you.

Take a flag from your enemy's camp and put it in your camp.

Capture the flag. I guarantee every single one of you have played at least one round of this game in your lives. Possibly even in person! It's a simple gameplay mechanic - you get a flag from an enemy base and bring it to the flag in your enemy base. It encourages teamplay and drives everyone towards a common goal.

Of course, what do we play today? Capture the objective! Watch out, you've got only 100 lives per team of 32 players and you're holding an "M1A1 Commando", whatever the hell that may be. Does it blow stuff up with a witty voice? Maybe it'll shank pe- crap, you just got marked from across the map by a sniper who's been playing this game since it's beta. Better wait twenty seconds to respawn. What, you need a key and at least two people to capture this one objective? There's four more of them?

I'll be perfectly honest. The reason this mod was even started is because I wanted to play a game of Capture the Flag without standard Half-Life 2 weapons. I wanted to put bullets in someone with a nice sounding assault rifle and take a bit of fabric attached to a pole. So I did. And I got a few other friends to join me.

And we played. Funny thing, we played until the sun decided to make a full rotation around the Earth once again. This extremely simple gameplay mechanic had us enthralled us for hours on end in an SDK map turned CTF. And so we expanded. One map became two and that became three. Two weapons became six. And thus, Paradigm Shift was born.

I knew I recognized those weapon skins. They're the same that were used in Resident Evil: Cold Blood. Not saying that's bad, but I recognize them. n_n

Looks cool!
I can't wait to play this MOD.

Just one question;
How did you manage to change the HUD? I can't make it work probably myself.

Thanks, and yeah, it looks extremely awesome! :)
