As most of you have probably found out by now, CoH now requires Steam in order to play. A side effect of this change is some difficulties in the manual installation of mods.

Thus I am writing this to ask you, as gamers, to help us modders gain access to Steam Workshop as a distribution system. This would not only make it easier for you to stay up to date with mods as they are updated, but also make it easier for us as modders to release updates and content.

If this goes through I will finally have a way of distributing Alpha stage content to you guys, and I will have the motivation to start publishing content on a regular basis. At present I am prepared to put the IJA Alpha stage on the Workshop the moment it gets approved.

Get signing guys, your support is greatly appreciated.

It is a fact that among all of the territory invaded by Japan, Only Bataan and Correigdor which is in the Philippines was the last to be captured because of strong defenes (that may be called defense in depth as they only denied the enemy not really defended the Locations which lead to gave enough time for American General McArthur to rest in Australia and gather enough forces to retake the Philippines) of joint American-Filipino Soldiers alongside Filipino Guerillas. Include Philippines but with American Help as they can't stand on their own There are American Divisions which have members of both American and Filipino soldiers like the 12th Infantry Division (Carabao Division) but were disbanded on 1946

The Philippine soldiers didn't work "willingly" with the US as they were used merely as expendable pawns. Both before and after the war US forces massacred them when they wanted independence and simply for the fact that they weren't "white"

Before the war it was genocide in the name of American imperialism with racism thrown into the mix to dehumanize them ... during the war they were promised independence only to be later betrayed and subsequently the remnants of the Philippine guerrillas were exterminated.

This is a very dark chapter in history and its one that is all too often forgotten. And truth be told the Imperial Japanese were no more evil than the US ... hell id go so far as to label them a lesser evil when compared the united states as the US is by far a more ruthless, cunning, & above all else efficient empire even to this very day.

Japan can not say the same and they are morally better off because of it.

Australia became independent in 1901. And we are currently implementing ANZAC forces as a support role.

Now that is something that I was hoping to hear!
Australia was one of the main forces in the pacific (especially in the South Pacific)
Are you thinking of maybe having them as reward units?
