As most of you have probably found out by now, CoH now requires Steam in order to play. A side effect of this change is some difficulties in the manual installation of mods.

Thus I am writing this to ask you, as gamers, to help us modders gain access to Steam Workshop as a distribution system. This would not only make it easier for you to stay up to date with mods as they are updated, but also make it easier for us as modders to release updates and content.

If this goes through I will finally have a way of distributing Alpha stage content to you guys, and I will have the motivation to start publishing content on a regular basis. At present I am prepared to put the IJA Alpha stage on the Workshop the moment it gets approved.

Get signing guys, your support is greatly appreciated.

Is this mod still active? It'd be epic if all the mod teams could come together and release a super mod with all the factions that have been made for WW2 :P

Have you ever thought to be absorbed by other mod or join this mod with other mod released? maybe you can talk with BK mod developers, The Far East War, including Europe at war mod developers...

maybe one of these mod can absorb this mod and added the japanese and marines faction to make a more complete mod ever made...

What do you think?

Moddb.com

would be great if you make a pact with The Far East War developers to include the USMC faction that you made...or try to plead help to these guys....

It's so annoying when people insult modders like this, making it seem as if they're completely helpless on their own and need to be carried by an already released successful mod.

Have you seen the pictures for this mod? Uccido is more than capable of producing this mod himself (not sure if WelshManDan is still alive), the mod obviously isn't dead, if anything it's at a temporary hiatus but that doesn't mean you should come on here and encourage them to give up and let other people save the mod, geez.

I am not saying that they need resign on this mod... I am talking about others mod need developers like this mod need some new developers...

the idea is all developers works together and not on a competition... make great mod with all factions together instead of 10 differents mod incomplete...

in my oponion it is stupid these guys work on abilities, vehicles and others things made before instead of share these things to save time and effort...

"Pacific thunder" is a BSS proyect but unfortunatelly something happened and these developers does not work together with Zombie mod, Modern combat that are BSS proyect too...

it is not a copyright is you make an alliance to share things... like the OTAN
they are from different countries, but they share some technology between them....

I take your point. However competition is better, no competition is no innovation.
