Overheid Part 1 v1.0
Oct 10, 2010 Full Version 17 commentsOverheid is a single-player Half-Life 2 mod set during the events of Half-Life 2, but starring a new protagonist. This is just the first part of a multi-part...
There was more going on in City 17 than just what Gordon Freeman and Alyx were doing. Follow a new recruit as he struggles to find his place in the movement, and see just how sinister the Combine can be.

Overheid is out now! Go play it, and give me your feedback. And most of all, enjoy!I'm just releasing a .zip file today, but later in the week I plan to have an installer also available. The plan is to release each map as its ready, or as it makes sense. And right now, I've got 7 maps planned for the initial release. 1 down, 6 more to go.
Thanks for all the feedback and support so far guys--it wouldn't be what it is now without it.

Now this is a mod i can get into!
It actually feels like i'm playing a Half Life 2 level, no glitches, the map is easy to navigate and no cutting corners in terms of design.
I can't wait to see the finish product

mod looks very promising. tracking.
This mod looks very promising, the WIP maps look very good, it is authentic and, looks like your Nodegraph also is good, so the Soldiers work like a real squad, nice work!
is this dead now?
No, it is definitely not dead. :) It's just a huge project and now Valve has broken the level editor for me, so progress has been slow lately.
But no, it's still very much alive and in development.
fantastic, glad to hear it.
Will HDR be applied much in this mod?
I was shooting for something similar to Ep2. Nothing crazy.
Custom models, textures and Im fine with the mod :D
If the character is not gordon I don't think the suit should be used. Obviously if you want A suit included, Riot Act did it well, using the idea that the character had nicked one of the combine suits after killing them.
just change the fonts,do a couple of replacements.
its soo easy i can get rid of the suit in a mod in less than 30 minutes
