This OTS Aiming Mod is a little and simple prototype for implementing the Over The Shoulder aiming typical of the modern TPS shooters in Max Payne 2.
Sadly due to heavy engine limitations, MP2 is from 2003, the only way to create this kind of aiming mode was to restrict the player to only two custom weapons specifically created for this purpose, and this means also that it's incompatible with other mods, every resource avaiable revolves around the ots aiming system so a dedicated mod is needed, we will have to deal with it. Same for possible bugs, this is the final version, on my pc there are no bugs but since the engine isn't extremely reliable and the ots system is complex some unwanted behaviour could happen on some pc, I can't do nothing about that, live with it.

Wold have been cool if you made him look like a special force kinda thing.
heavy armored and stuff. Could also have different uniform and armor as the chapters change.

The_Silver said that this already is the official model. :D
In some way...
I agree with you.

Maybe this is the best The_Silver can do.
We should all be content with it.

Exactly, if I don't do something that you want means that I'm not skilled enough, sounds legit...

Everything you see is final becouse this is a very old finished project (I've created it a lot of months ago), becouse it's a simple prototype not a huge total conversion, and becouse since you see his shoulder very close a lot of times it needed to be perfectly rigged and vertex weighted, so I simply used a model that I already perfectly vertex weighted instead of wasting dozens of hours at rigging and vertex weighting a new model for such a little mod.
Consider also that for making the weapons appear on the body it needed a lot of extra work, combine it with the previous work I mentioned and you will understand why I'm not starting redoing something I made a lot of time ago, especially with a mod like Payne Evolution in the works.
At the end it's simply a matter of "Is it worth it?", as always.

PS: Anyway, everyone of you is free to rigg and vertex weight a new model if you want, send it to me and once close to the release I will check how many of you made it and include the best, let's see who can do what.

Player is restricted to only two weapons, enemies have all the standard arsenal, since your two weapons shares the ammo with the weapons of the enemies you simply pick up the magazines from the fallen enemies instead of their whole dropped weapon.
