Over-Run
Half-Life 2 mod | TBD
Over-Run is a Half Life 2 zombie modification. We hope to make this different from other zombie mods. This is our updated list of features.
We plan to have at least 3 of the game modes in for the final release.
Here is what we plan for the Alpha/ Beta release.
Over-Run Mode: In this mode all players will be on the human team. They will be fighting against zombie AI controlled bots. These bots will try and hunt the players down and kill them.
The players have a certain amount of time to survive for and then they win. But if they get killed off they lose.
Some features for the Alpha/ Beta build.
- Walking zombies.
- Possibly a vehicle
- Alot of gore, increased blood splats, blood clouds.
Gibbing will hopefully be added in the future.
- Doom 3 style Flashlight
- Over 50 weapons!
- At least 5 charecters for Alpha/ Beta. We have concepts for 12 charecters though.
- Radio that plays in vehicles or you can play it where you want.
- Walkie talkies are used for communications.

Hey everybody.
Long time no speak.
Well first off, Over-Run is still alive. We are moving slowly along. We have lost alot of members, but gained some new ones.
Anyway, last month I was approacted by the magazine PC Games and PC Action, they wanted to put Over-Run in the mod for a preview thing. Even though it is only a small section about it, they said they want to do a full interview once the mod is nearly complete.
Onto other things, 42 of the 50 weapons are completed. Some need animations and UVs and such. Mapping is going good. Rocket_Robinhood is working on or_Mall and Ande has started a new map called or_Disco.
We are animating weapons too and just moving along. However, coding is very slow.
So if you are a coder please drop by. Also we are looking for charecter animators if you are interested.
Well, we will have a media release sometime, just remember, we are always alive, just slowly working along.

Well the mod is looking good now. Keep it up! PLus i dont think the walkie talkies should have static becasue it would annoying because in CSS its already unclear when people talk.

Nice work as usually. Also anone who comes and registers can cotribute their ideas to help make the Over-Run better. Sadly we have very few people willing to put their ideas out there.

Sadly I dont think we will make the Summer release we hoped for.
But dont worry we are getting things done and we will release in a "few" months.
Also I dont think any zombie mods for HL2 are out sorry.
And we will never die we just are getting work done, and its getting slow because we are animating now :)

Im not part of the team, but i think summer release aint coming, but i dont know is there summer where this game makers live so their summer can be after 6 months or something but my its summer in Finland now so im waiting it now!
