Destination Hostile was a silly name. It made sense to begin with - it was based upon a version of the game I like to call the 'teleporter plot' in which the player travels to many different locales, such as Aperture, Underwater Testing Laboratory, Xen and Black Mesa (including having the Borealis crash through the Hydro-electric dam). The plot made no sense at all, but had some cool ideas. Some stuck in my head, some are still included in the game, and some are slowly being removed. Some of these I am sad to see go, but you have to start somewhere, so I am cutting the name.
Destination Hostile is gone, replaced by Outside Influence. The name makes way more sense in context to the plot, and I kinda like it more. The logo is a bit tighter this time, using the same fonts and things.
What do you guys think of the new logo and name and things? Is it better than the old one?
PS: Development is still happening, though slow due to holiday and such related things.
