Outpost 16 is a single-player level for HL2:EP2 that has a cinematic, moody tone with custom voice acting, models, scripted sequences and music.

Over at Planetphillip.com you can now find a review for Outpost 16. It's a pretty favorable review that I found honest and refreshing. There's also a panoramic image of the second half of my level which is SUPER cool, and you should definitely check it out if you need further convincing :)
Also, Podcast 17 has discussed my mod in their latest episode, found here. It's more a speculative discussion than anything, but if you prefer the soothing sound of actual human voices to the cold, dead face of computer text, check it out. Finally, Moddb user "keywc" has gone through the trouble of making french subtitles, without me even asking, which I'm very grateful for. However, I can't for the life of me get them to show up in-game. I've compiled them into a .dat file, set the "audio (spoken) language" to french but they never show up. If anyone is familiar with subtitles and knows how to get closed captions other than english to show up, please let me know.

Very good level and mostly very sexy. Let me explain. That's not something you see in every HL2 mod out there, and the voice acting is top notch, not to say the scenario was well thought out and it clicks with everything else present in the level. Outside was very similar to a scene come out from a disarrayed City 17 as seen in episode 1 just before evacuating it. I didn't encounter anything worth noting that would degrade experience, since it's an action packed mod, and it seens to pull it out well enough. Good job.

My highest compliment as a HL-er since 1998 is to say that this is Valve-quality work, which it is. Congrats. Valve would be jealous of what you've done here.
