Outlast Door Unlocker file

Features:

• Unlocks all doors, even the blocked off ones for the original game and whistleblower

Installation:

• Extract all files in the downloaded zip to the same folder
• Open OLDoorUnlock.exe
• Press Open next to the textbox
• Select your OutlastLauncher.exe (find some common directories below)
• Press Decompress and wait, this will take a while depending on your PC
• Press Unlock All Doors to unlock all doors
• Press Lock All Doors to lock them again

Common Outlast Directories:

• Steam: C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Outlast
• Cracked: Usually something like C:\Games
• Some people may also find their game here: C:\Program Files(x86)\Outlast

Current issues:

• Game will be decompressed, you will experience console like loading screens while playing
• When a door gets locked while playing, it will stay locked
• The map might not fully load if you skip huge chunks of the game (e.g. entering the female ward through the front door)

Restoring the original:

If you're not happy with the loading times, you can always restore your original game. The program will generate a complete backup of the game files before decompressing them. You will find two new directories in the program directory:

• Backup: Copy all files in this folder to [OutlastLocation]\OLGame\CookedPCConsole
• BackupDLC: Copy all files in this folder to [OutlastLocation]\OLGame\CookedPCConsoleDLC

Reporting issues:

• If your game crashes: make sure everything was done CORRECTLY, if it still crashes send me this file: Documents\My Games\Outlast\OLGame\Logs\Launch.log
• If the program crashes: tell me what the error is and what you were doing with the program
