With games constantly pushing the graphical envelope these days, it’s rare to find a mod that built on an antiquated engine and still manages to visually impress. It’s all the more rare to find that it was, for the most part, put together by a one person. Instant Respawn had the chance to meet with Long Nguyen, creator of the recently released Out of Hell mod built upon the Unreal 2 engine. He recalls the trials and tribulations of a 7 year long journey to his version of the perfect zombie apocalypse.

Please let it be soon, this mod is the only reason I still have UT2004 installed

I guess CRC isn't active in the comment list this month. One month left for UT3 to release and let's see what would CRC would say.

Listen up, you don’t seem to realize that making a mod is very hard, for CRC to take the time and effect to make a mod like this on his own with no help from other people, he has done a lot of work and good progress. You will just have to wait, as the same of all of us, any way there are others mod’s out there to play like Killing Floor, Blue Moon Rising, etc…
I’m sure this mod will be finished this year, anyway try out Fraghouse Invasion V5, its dawn pretty good mod! CRC as always you have my respect and good willing to create a great Out of Hell mod.

I wouldn't have stuck with it for 4+ years if I didn't have any intention of releasing it. I also wouldn't visit this topic and post all the time either!! ;)
On how many people would be very disappointed with CRC that this mod isn't finished including me? And by the time this might be released, the system requirements might be the UT3 system requirements. UT2004 is now four years old now and how much patience do most people are waiting for this scariest and bloodiest add-on of all Unreal and UT series? Because this add-on was done solo, I could look no further than Call of Duty 4 and maybe UT3 (which shall be released on Nov 2007 in which the title would have been UT2008).
Why this add-on a walk of shame? Because it struggled to finish too long and if this add-on could or could not earn an award for the mod of the year, this isn't even close to the ones against most HL2 add-ons.
