The day is here, after 7 long years in development it has finally been released! Out Of Hell is a zombie-horror, singleplayer TC for UT2004!
Out Of Hell is a total conversion for Unreal Tournament 2004. It is a horror-themed first-person adventure that takes place within Grinwood, an industrial city devastated by a zombie plague. Players will assume the role of Donovan Ling, a police officer sent from a neighboring city to investigate a garbled transmission from Grinwood. You must traverse a variety of areas while staying alive long enough to uncover the truth behind the mysterious zombie plague!
KEY FEATURES
Out Of Hell has several interesting features that will surely appeal to horror-gaming fans everywhere! Out Of Hell has vast, beautifully detailed environments and a unique, immersive atmosphere accompanied by a haunting soundtrack. Players can look forward to exploring huge levels while choosing to avoid or bludgeon hordes of up to 30+ zombies! You're welcome, dethtoll. After all, it's no problem at all enjoying and sharing your success with everyone once in a while, but as for Mr.Kadish, he is not.
I hope CRC's Out of Hell has finished, it is 90% and from what I can see, it is going to be finished soon. Out of Hell is better than Killing Floor.
thank you! someone finally understands what i'm talking about!
keep up the good work, CRC. hopefully the mod won't coincide with STALKER- i'd like to play it as soon as it's out, heh.
Thanks Xzimon , I care, looks like its going to be a Great SP Mod.
good work CRC People, webpage looks cool.
UTUmbrellaSTARS out.
And by the way, Killing Floor is a huge disappointment, sorry Killing Floor teams, although your project is a great success, being proud and haughty of it makes your project a joke.
Looking good there CRC. The new website looks just better than the old one.
CRC updated the mods webpage, if anyone cares.
I agree with beretta and now watching this mod. Read the forums! CRC is online in the forum currently in 2007. Man o Man, I seriously can't wait for this game to be released!
I agreed with Dethtoll,Just let CRC work people,
where did i say anything bad about OoH or its fans? generally they're a far better lot than the KF crowd.
let me refine my statement: in general i dislike fans (particularly since often they ARE a sensitive lot- grow up, your favourite game/band/TV show/whatever isn't the best thing since sliced bread, stop getting butthurt the instant someone says even remotely negative about it) but in this particular case i have zero respect for the legions of teenage boys who came out of the woodwork to rip me a new one simply because i DARED to say anything negative about killing floor 2.0. it's like all kadish has to do is say "HURRRRRRRRRRRRR" and 20 teenagers will simultaneously yell "YOU TELL 'EM BOSS!"
however, ultimately my problem lies not with the fans. they can be a bunch of suckups or they can be intelligent or they can be 11 angry guys with tastes narrower than a hallway in a pygmy dwarf camp (see the fallout community for an example of that last one) for all i care, it's a matter of personal taste. my problem lies with mr. kadish and similar modders who have a superiority complex. i especially dislike TKaZA for telling me that as a modder he was more important/better/superior to the player, i.e. me. i thought the point of creating mods was for people to play them? granted there's a desire to create something for yourself, but would anybody really purpousely spend a year or two of their time on a mod that they knew in advance nobody but their mom would play? or is there some sort of pretentious "it's not FOR you" mentality when dealing with someone who doesn't like your work? i respect the work modders put in, but a lot of them seriously need to put their egos in check.
one last thing: and KF is technically a zombie mod, as it centers around, you know, zombies. however, KF2.0 was awful and threw out everything that made KF1 unique. now it just feels soulless.
maybe it's because CCR actually takes the time to make an enjoyable singleplayer experience?
