Opposing Force Redux is a enhancement package for Opposing Force. It is designed to work with the new Steam Client provided by Valve. Opposing Force Redux enhances your Opposing Force installation beyond what was thought to be possible with the High Definition pack that shipped with Blue Shift.
Redux is a community project. It is non-profit and contains work from members of many communities. Such communities are Half Life Improvement Team, which provide invaluable support and a great source of custom Half Life content. However most of the work is done by our Team.
Redux is a complete visual and audio overhaul for Opposing Force. Containing new models, sounds, sprites and some map enhancements to immerse you into a new level of game play. Even the smallest of details have been reworked to give your now fancy ass gaming computer something to chew on. This is not a Source project/port.
Currently in development, we have replaced near over 550 sounds, and 50 models and showing progress towards more. Redux takes advantage of every feature in the Half Life engine. From transparencies, chrome effects and additive textures used in ways thought to be outdated. Along with crisp new sound effects, high quality models which polygon counts are hardly never below 1,000 keep the always proud Opposing Force looking its best.

Greetings fans,
We have officially given ourself a name after much debate, Napalm Editon. We are also updating the website with new images and hope to have a new batch of media on the way ASAP! Please see our website for more information and details. With the summer coming up, we hope to get more done and have more to show. If you are a mapper, you should really talk to us, we could use your help. I think ours is going bonkers and could use some assistance before he maps the entire game from scratch. Now that will make an impressive Resume.

I've posted it a million times, on Mod Db, HIT Forums and the website and the download section I believe and the bug wasn't found until after the release, so relax.
Guys? :< The pack partially doesnt works for me :( the Opposing Force weapons are replaced, sounds too, but the HL1 weapons and eg marine's models don't want to show up :( What I should do? :(
Go on the Redux Site to get Some HEV Half Life handed Weapons!
Ok, the problem was the HD pack installed - why theres no info about it in the readme? IT SHOULD BE!
So, if experience problems like in my last comment, open up IE and paste this in adress: Removeaddon
Hit enter, and here it is - lovely OPFOR Redux. Great job on it guys!
PS: If You want HD Pack back, do the same as above, except the adress. For instalation its Installaddon

I noticed a bunch of people asking for instructions so I uploaded the readme file to ihud, which contains instructions

I'm not recieving all the models, the ones I notice would be the shotgun, assault rifle, and stinger.
I assume it is because I have the HD pack, as those are the models that show.
A correction of what I said or a patch would be great.

I unpack all the files into the gearbox directory, it works, but one more thing, majority of the weapons reloading like clipin, clipout, slideforward etc. doesn't have sound, and except firing which is cool.
whats the problem wif the reloading sound?

yes but you will lose half life own at power up i'm making my own pack so you can still play power up with this and that free hd pack i try the half life own thing it only works for all but soldiers and some scientis are messt up i'm all most don't
ok go to this place and download and it has a installer so you just need to click and relacks and then play i have it it comes opfors stuff to but this mod is better on opfor but on half life own put the redux pistol ways better
