The game takes place in the eve of the Seven Hour War. Fighting against blood shedding synths and frightening aliens, Adrian Shephard has to struggle his way with his fellow comrades from the Phoenix Command, with the main objective of stopping the construction of a Combine Citadel. In his journey he will find what has happened to the world, moments before the Seven Hour War.

It just sounds a bit fast on the beat for an ambient track. Sometimes simple tones create an incredible mood for an area, like the ambient tracks of the dead city in Metro 2033.

Well this is mainly going to be used in the Western/desert area, so it will be fairly action-orientated.

I made it quite fast to make it sound sort of like a slow train ride through a Western village.

I think you got the western vibe down pat, if this will be playing in the area with the submarine and similar ones it should work just fine, especially if enemy engagements are surprises.

No offence, but I don't think this would suit any action scenes. The wind is a good effect though.

it's not an action music where the **** did you guys come up with this, he's just saying that the chapter is action oriented so the ambience song has to sound a bit faster than common ambiences.

Doesn't really sounds like a wasteland, but it's still better than Fallout wastelands songs. I just like their radio in that game lol

It sounds like an oriental-themed game's main menu music. From the 90's.

Meh, it's okay, but seems a little too abstract. I wouldn't mind abstractedness too much if it was just a little more subtle. It's supposed to be ambient music. Listen to Portal's Music. Very quiet and subtle

This sounds like a particularly Native American soundtrack... perhaps for when Adrian finds himself in what should clearly be an inhabited area, but for reasons unknown, the entire village/hut is empty... and suddenly, he realizes he might be followed by someone, and discovers some friendly locals who don't talk much.

Maybe that's just my imagination.
