The game takes place in the eve of the Seven Hour War. Fighting against blood shedding synths and frightening aliens, Adrian Shephard has to struggle his way with his fellow comrades from the Phoenix Command, with the main objective of stopping the construction of a Combine Citadel. In his journey he will find what has happened to the world, moments before the Seven Hour War.

Belt-fed M16? Nice! But why is the guard white?

It's a M16AR1 without the nade launcher, its guard is white.

Are there any sensors or anything on it? I really can't see how it would detect a target.

I could imagine something like that in real life falling apart from sustained fire.

M-16s can be belt fed they just have to be modified 1st. The only issue would be how to make such a modification durable & reliable but yes it is possible to modify a M-16 of any kind to be belt fed using M-249/M-240 belt feeds.

You need to modify the upper reciever to accept belt feed, it's no longer a standard M16 then, so you can't say "M16s can be belt fed". It's like modifying a bus to be amphibious and saying "buses can float on water". And the modification for it would have the feed port on the side, it couldn't be belt fed from the magazine well like it is here.

it is quite possible tho again as I stated clearly b4 it would be a very complicated, difficult to build, & unreliable weapon.

Moral of the story yes it is possible but very difficult with sub standard results in the end.

Uh... it looks cool, but the M16A1 doesn't have a heavy enough barrel to be fired sustained like an autoturret. And loading it like that wouldn't work.

And why is the M203 heatshield white?
