Operations 1942

With Operations 1942, we develop a Half-Life Singleplayer mod which is the first to have a high standard of realism and quality. All missions, the player will have to face while playing the game, will be based on historical events which will give the game additional atmosphere. The realistic damage system and the film-quality background music will add to the special Feeling of Operations 1942.
Storyline:
The year is 1942. The war, only present in Europe and North-Africa becomes a world war as Japan joins. The American forces decide to intervene in the European war, which will become bigger than ever in 1944 with the invasion of France. You are part of a secret commando unit, which was trained for seeking and spying behind enemy lines. In your missions in North Africa, France and Germany you will be on your own and have to act alike. Your mission is, to fulfil your objectives without being detected, which is for your own safety. Many situations can be solved better by cheating, sneaking and sometimes with a well aimed shot as opposed to an offensive assault.

no offense or anything, but it kinda looks like a rip-off of medal of honor. i'll check it out. looks good anyway - i like my historic war games
I can't load it. "Could not find filesystem to load"... What should I do with it???
Ew... AI can make or break any game, no matter how great the rest of it is. Obviously this mod needs some upgrades for the AI. You'd probably up your score from 8.5 to 9 if you did.
Sorry, but I'm not playing a mod if there's no difficulty because of brain dead AI. I'm sure a lot of other people won't either.
I'm not going to rate this game for now. If you upgrade the AI so they are challenging, instead of mentally challenged, then I'll play it. If I think its challenging, I'll rate it as a 10 to help even out the score to a 9. :)
the only problem i have with this mod is that the A.I. seems to be non-exisant. Maybe its down to the age of the engine or whatever but i shot a guard while there was 2 more within about 10 ft of him and they never noticed. I then shot one of the other 2 and the other guard never noticed, before finally shooting the last guard. Graphically this mod looks great though - weapons are converted really well
