This mod is being made for those who love stargate and would like an rpg game from it, it is not a total conversion, but just a small mod which adds the ability to travel to different worlds through a stargate placed somewhere in Cyrodill.

In this news I will explain one of these which is going to be Doctor Who, a VERY long running British TV series. The Doctor is from an alien species called Time Lords, who are exactly that, they travel through time and space in devices they created called a TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimensions In Space). The Time Lords were trapped in a war with another alien race called Daleks, who think everything different is an abomination and must be exterminated. Im not entirely sure how but the Doctor and the Master were the only 2 surviving Time Lords after the war, but the Doctor is the only one who has a TARDIS (which he states many times he stole it from his own people). Anyway, not that all the people who arent from the UK are cought up on that I can begin with what of the series will be in the mod.
First is obviously the TARDIS itself, which has a chameleon circuit allowing it to look like anything that would fit in with the time and location it lands in, the circuit was broken and the Doctor left it the way it was (a 1970's Blue Police Box). One doctor in an older series fixed this but it then 'broke' again. (another thing is that Time Lords dont die, they regenerate their bodies and return as a completely new person, but they can only do this 13 times). The first thing anyone notices about the TARDIS is that it is bigger on the inside, the doorway is connected to another dimension where the interior was then built, it is made obvious that past the control room (which is 1 of 2 rooms ever seen in the series) is a vast amount of rooms extending on and on, for all we know there could be enough room in there for a planets population to live in. Along with the Doctor, the TARDIS also has a few makeovers too, mainly the interiors style, usually to suit the latest Doctors persona. In the mod I will be adding the TARDIS only for transportation, I may make time travel a possibility in future quests but for now it will be an alternative to gate travel. The interior can also be used as a portable player home, you will be able to choose from a selection of interiors/exteriors to suit whatever you wish, Im also thinking on having the option to just repair the chameleon circuit and have the exterior change automatically depending on the location.
Second will be the famous Sonic Screwdriver! If you come across a locked object (door/chest/etc) then just pull out your sonic, aim it at the object and use it like a weapon, the object will be instantly unlocked! I may, if I can find out how, have it lock the object if it is already unlocked. Another use will be that it is required for quests, such as sabotaging computers, killing robotic enemies etc. If anyone else has ideas for it then please let me know.
Next is the TARDIS only locations you will be able to travel to, such as on board the Sontaran Battleship above one of the planets (yes the almost invurnerable midgets with guns will be in it), the only access will be by TARDIS or if you can find the hidden transmat controls on the planet. Or maybe you want to go aboard a ship drifting in space, seemingly empty, till you arrive and awaken it anyway. Some of these locations will make the door to the TARDIS unusable till you have completed the questline for that area, these buttons will have a * next to them so you know to be prepared before going there, or I may just make the control console shut down so you still have access to storage.
Of course, a Doctor Who mod would not be complete without these guys, the Daleks will definately be in the mod, in several places, in fact I may make it possible to travel to the Dalek homeworld if I have spare time (I could always make it an optional download).
I will of course have some other familiar things in the Doctor Who section of the mod, including K-9, Cybermen (with lootable armour!), Daleks (loot death ray guns!), Sontarans, The Master, Gallifray (Maybe anyway), and many others.
This will be made AFTER the main Stargate part of the mod, this is so I can make it an optional extra, you will require the original version of the stargate mod once it is released to be able to play this part and both will be required for the optional addon planets and locations.
