Reclamation is a HL2 EP2 modification taking place somewhere between the events of episode 2 and Half Life 3. You play as Gordon Freeman as he is sent to America to dismantle the combine’s regime, and once again reclaim the land of the free.

The main focus of the first part of the story that takes place in New York isn't combat. Freeman hooks up with the resistance and later finds his suit has been confiscated by the police. He obviously needs to go retrieve it, but has no weapons to do so.
