Operation Peacekeeper is a modern warfare modification for the popular game Battlefield 2, based on a fictional development of the actual Kosovo conflict. The mod features two different sides - the German Bundeswehr and the Serbian VSCG - engaging in the rough and mountainous terrain of Kosovo. Both use state of the art military weapon systems like the German Leopard 2A6 MBT, as well as older, but yet still effective equipment, like the Russian build Mi24V Hind E used by the Serbian forces. The maps cover a large array of different settings, such as for example a domestic port, a small village, or a military airport attacked by German airborne troops.
You want light choppers in OPK? Well you can have them: the BO105 has just arrived!

In todays update we show you the anticipated BO105 ingame! After one year of production time, finally the last bugs were kicked out of the engine and we are ready to present it. The presentation will take place on one of its latest playgrounds, but it will be used on other maps, too. On Airfield Assault the BO will be a perfect replacement for the heavy attack choppers. On Ambush the BO will complete the weaponry and will be used alongside with existing equipment.
However you won't be able to operate the BO alone. You will need a skilled Co-Pilot to target the guided rockets. Like the UH1D and the SA341 Gazelle the BO105 won't be lockable for anti-air rockets as those choppers do not have the defense equipment (Flares) against those threads. We decidedfor a good working balancing system.
Starforce wrote the code for the machine and DaWallace painted the HUD.
With this Update we say goodbye for today and really are looking forward to a fast release of Version 0.25.
