Operation: Firestorm is an enhancement mod for C&C Generals: Zero Hour. This mod currently features 8 unique playable Generals each with a huge arsenal of new units, buildings and special powers ar their disposal. While the core gamplay stays the same, a number of interesting new gameplay mechanics are added. In addition the overall visual quality is greaty improved, including new models, textures, FX and an improved User-Interface, available in full-HD resolution.

They should be on most of the maps from the Mappack. On the map in this screenshot (Lagoon+) it starts destroyed initially and rebuilds after some time.

You can even put them on your own custom maps if you start the Worldbuilder application with the mod activated.

"If you capture multiple factories, you can built the unlocked units at each of them." sooo: by access to mutiple factories you can build ALL unlockables?
you probably be rarely able to get multiple ones,or you probably grant a friend one or two to make the game more even :`D

THIS is great.. "WE" were playing,and thinking of making things even more interesting for us..(we made for example the upgraded,with frenzy kindof railguns that uses a recharger accessible to all other generals if you capture high techs warfactory,the same gos for other generals units)
AND now you come up with this..this truly makes things more interesting

the depth,width,and lenght of thought of detail that went into this operation "fire storm" as a whole, displays an expertise in and of and around tactical awareness,the right ingridients,and strategic depth..that is SO deep you would need james cameron to get there.
it`s just fan-FREAKIN-tastic. it`s not only a compensation for zero hour,NO, it`s a compen-sensation!!
there is a reason people say the best and brightest come from europe.
it`s just insane.. i`ll say it,IT could only (if possible) be outdone by one(although it is in some aspects)
and i rather feel this is not an opinion but rather a fact..and facts don`t care about feeelings.

IT has engraved the essence of most of the best mods for zero hour,while adding a new, unique,and prolific facet,that is setting an standart.

are this unlockable units special or just random units(from opposite faction for example) with veterancy level?

Those are regular units, one unit from each faction + one from Chem General that isn't buildable otherwise.

I'll probably add some more units in the future.

i haven`t seen any map with more than two factories..
as i took th liberty to attribute them to myself.. i still wasn`t able to have any unlockables. how many are required Oo
will be cool creating maps with these and other tech buildings

for the moment list of units is strange: some are no other place to build(like Grad), some kinda common(Battlemaster). if i may, i'd make list consist of most "tasty" units(among faction-buildable), like those you usually take faction for.
for example i see Desolator but why not Stormtroopers?

It's one unit per faction. The Grad will be for Dr. Thrax in the next release. I included 'boring' units like the Battlemaster so there are different unit roles.

Description

New Techbuilding

Grants access to a random unit (from a selection of 9 units)
These units are fully upgraded and on veteran level.

If you capture multiple factories, you can built the unlocked units at each of them.

If a factory is destroyed and rebuilt again (which all Tech buildings in OFS do) it is randomized again.
