Welcome to our first media update this year!

Multiplayer Beta Release Q1 2014 Cancelled

Our plan to bring you the multiplayer beta of Operation Black Mesa early this year didn't work out, regrettably. Several factors and circumstances forced us to completely keep it under the hood until further notice.

Multiplayer Progress

Multiplayer will feature classic maps such as Yard, Crossfire and Boot Camp as well as brand-new ones like Deptcharge and Gambit from day 1.
Currently in development: CTF mode and weapon placement.

Singleplayer Campaign

Development is running smoothly; those NPCs aren't going to animate themselves though! If you're interested in joining our team, check out the jobs page where you can find all positions currently open. We look forward to welcoming you on board!

Pit Worm's Nest

Remember Guard Duty (Blue Shift: Source)? We're making solid progress here too:

Living Quarters Outbound

OBM: The Video Game?

We've been given the option of developing our projects as full indie titles to be sold on Steam!
This opens up a whole lot of attractive possibilities to consider; however no decision has been reached yet as to this matter.

Alien Controller

M1A1 Tank

Thanks for your support in making all of this possible!

Until next time,
Tripmine Dev Team

Ok I just want to say something about that bullsquid. I know you are sick of hearing it but all the other times I have ranted about it I never really explained my reasoning. i just said sentence after sentence that basicly said "this sucks" and also insults toward the DEV's like "they'll never change it". There are a lot of people who like your new model but there are those who don't. I have been a fan of Half-Life for quite some time, so you shouldn't blame me for wanting things original. And I know it's a recreation and it's a good recreation. The level design is great and all of the other monsters are great as well. But I must say the bullsquid (in my opinion) is not good, at least not for half-life. It's a good model for a different mod, but not a half-life recreation. But there are people who like it and don't like (as stated before). I think you should take both sides. Keep the bullsquid you have now and possibly make another bullsquid that looks just like the original. And instead of making a whole nother model you can just reskin the one you have now to make it look like the original.

We were thinking about this, but does it worth to make another model? Bullsquid is appearing very rare in Opposing force (I think there is just 3 times).

You don't have to fully remake a model. I mean like just making a copy of the model you have now and reskinning it. So you wouldn't have to go through all that work of making an entirely new model.

I am one of those who likes the new model, but I agree with both of you...

It sounds even more reasonable to me if the devs stick now with the development of the whole game and then fork for the model...

You can't question on which model is better if the devs don't realize the game for first!

Just my two cents...
