Welcome to our first media update this year!

Multiplayer Beta Release Q1 2014 Cancelled

Our plan to bring you the multiplayer beta of Operation Black Mesa early this year didn't work out, regrettably. Several factors and circumstances forced us to completely keep it under the hood until further notice.

Multiplayer Progress

Multiplayer will feature classic maps such as Yard, Crossfire and Boot Camp as well as brand-new ones like Deptcharge and Gambit from day 1.
Currently in development: CTF mode and weapon placement.

Singleplayer Campaign

Development is running smoothly; those NPCs aren't going to animate themselves though! If you're interested in joining our team, check out the jobs page where you can find all positions currently open. We look forward to welcoming you on board!

Pit Worm's Nest

Remember Guard Duty (Blue Shift: Source)? We're making solid progress here too:

Living Quarters Outbound

OBM: The Video Game?

We've been given the option of developing our projects as full indie titles to be sold on Steam!
This opens up a whole lot of attractive possibilities to consider; however no decision has been reached yet as to this matter.

Alien Controller

M1A1 Tank

Thanks for your support in making all of this possible!

Until next time,
Tripmine Dev Team

I always thought Opposing Force was the best of the Half-Life games. Keep up the good work, I can't wait to play it!

PS: In the trailer there is a vortigaunt. Is it the slave model or the default one? It should be the slave model included in hl2

OK, I have a question, in Opposing force there was a zombie that ran at you and if he was to far away he would reach inside him and throw "red globs" at you, what was he from his clothing he looked like just a matence worker but I couldnt tell, so what is he?

The zombie you are thinking of is called a gonome. I believe they are just the ragular scientist zombies but much more mutated. I bet the DEV's of this mod will probobly make a bigger variaty of gonomes, like barney or HECU gonomes. That would be neet.

This is prob gonna be the best mod to be created for hl2. I only hope and ask for in this is more squadmates, i was dissapointed with the lack of squad mates in the original hl. Hopefully you guys can add them in

I honestly think there should be the amount of squadmates in this mod as in the original op4. And it makes sense for there not to be a lot of squad mates since most of the HECU pulled out at the begining of op4, and leaving a few behind (including you).

Excellent point poisonheadcrab but let's not forget, they also said that many soldiers were still left behind after the pull-out.

Therefore it would make sense if a little bit more squadmates are added. Personally I hope that they will, but then again what poisonheadcrab said makes a lot of sense too. Maybe a squad of 5 including you would be nice.

Either way, this mod looks very beautiful and I look forward to playing it! Good luck to the dev team!
