Media Release 2015

Hi there and welcome to this year's first and, oddly enough, singular update!
There's a lot to talk about, so let's get right to it:

First off, we'd very much like to apologize for the lack media releases on our part. While we did intend to focus more on the actual task at hand and spend less engery on presenting it, we didn't expect things to get so busy and found ourselves pushing our updates further and further.
As many of you may have noticed, our website is currently down. That's mainly due to technical and usability issues. We are however setting up a new forum and hope to interact more with you guys once that's up.

NPC Recruit Operation Black Mesa: Recruit

But, and this comes from the whole team: We are very thankful and touched to see so many of you being as excited as ever, hanging in there, showing your support and even boosting us into the top 100 on MOTY albeit having heard and seen nothing for almost 2 years. It really means a lot to us and it's a great reassurance that a lot of folks want this mod to exist as much as we do. A big thanks to all of you; keep being awesome!

Status Update

So, what's the status on Operation Black Mesa and Guard Duty?
They are both being worked on with full energy and equal priority.

Guard Duty is being developed as DLC / expansion for the bigger and more content-heavy Operation Black Mesa, so it won't require an extra greenlight campaign. So if you are especially interested in Guard Duty, be sure to check on Operation Black Mesa; we report on both mods side by side as they are very close together in terms of progress.

As a token of us being very much alive and kicking as ever (or early Christmas presents if you will), enjoy the rest of our previews:

which problem?

The problem with mods. The steam update a while back caused a problem so a few mods wont start. The new SDK was meant to fix it.

I'd like to know too. The 2009 edition of Hammer seems to crash upon map load for me so I'm forced to use the 2006 edition.

Im not.Thatis the only time i have asked about the release date for this mod and its not even whining. Also i know on here that i would at least get some kind of response from a dev because they are usually on the page.

I don't think they know themselfs when its going to be released. It's usually not as easy as just making up a date and then trying to go with it, especially not when your making a mod.

You've got to remember, that this is no professional game studio that can sit the whole days and develop the game. They are just a bunch of hardcore fans that work on this when they got the time.

Yeah i know. It takes a lot of time and work to maake a mod like this especially a remake so i would understand if they dont have any idea of a release but i was just wondering.
