Multiplayer Beta Release Q1 2014 Cancelled

Our plan to bring you the multiplayer beta of Operation Black Mesa early this year didn't work out, regrettably. Several factors and circumstances forced us to completely keep it under the hood until further notice.

Multiplayer Progress

Multiplayer will feature classic maps such as Yard, Crossfire and Boot Camp as well as brand-new ones like Deptcharge and Gambit from day 1.
Currently in development: CTF mode and weapon placement.

Depthcharge

Singleplayer Campaign

Development is running smoothly; those NPCs aren't going to animate themselves though! If you're interested in joining our team, check out the jobs page where you can find all positions currently open. We look forward to welcoming you on board!

Pit Worm's Nest

Remember Guard Duty (Blue Shift: Source)? We're making solid progress here too:

Living Quarters Outbound

OBM: The Video Game?

We've been given the option of developing our projects as full indie titles to be sold on Steam!
This opens up a whole lot of attractive possibilities to consider; however no decision has been reached yet as to this matter.

Thanks for your support in making all of this possible!

Until next time,

Menter, you don't need to act smart now, I mean everyone knows you got no friends because you keep stealing their **** and passing it off as your own and then expect everyone to suck your **** because you have some inflated view of your **** quality "mod".

I seriously doubt you could model, texture or rig a single damn thing that's been shown by the OPBM team. Because, unlike you and your team, they don't pinch from other's and trade it off as theirs. This is saying something, even from me.

Anyway yes, the bullsquid is not good. I could kick that thing myself if it was the deal. You completely made a muscular predator into a skinny thing that seems to in starvation since weeks."

Oh,that's because of the position.Believe me,it's bigger, wayyy bigger than it looks. And about the "skinny thing",the original bullsquid looked a little like a big fat sausage than a mean predator, but thanks for the idea we'll have it in mind.

So will you use the textures, monsters and other things developed for the Black Mesa mod? It would be quite cheap of them not to give their material to you guys.

Sorry for not reading 57 pages of comments then. I'm just thinking it would cut down a lot on your workload if you don't have to create alot of textures and models n' ****.

Its not mentioned just there (anyway, you can find this fact on forums, max. 3 pages of comments back or its discussed on Black Mesa forums and on many other places. Hmm I think we have to think about short FAQ on this profile, it will be easier than explain this every week :D

Too skinny for a predator? Now thats a laugh. I could on the spot name several predators that are skinnier than our version of the bullsquid.
