Operation: Black Mesa is a total Source remake of Half Life: Opposing Force. Using the Source engine, the developers plan to recreate the Black Mesa research Facility as it was seen by Corporal Adrian Shephard of the H.E.C.U. Half-life: Opposing Force is still an amazing game, although it is not nearly as amazing as it was when it was released.

Awe, I was hoping for an MP5SD, not a silenced MP5A3...
It looks fantastic either way.
I prefer the MP5A3 since 1) it maintains continuity with Black Mesa: Source & 2) the third-person view in the original was an MP5A3.

Is the silenced Mp5 going to be used by the player along with the m203 mounted version or just a world model that only gives ammo when picked up?

By the way, at first I didn't have high hopes for OBM, but it's looking better and better with each passing media release, now I'm psyched for it. It's looking fantastic.
MP5-SD5 wouldn't be a better idea either.
I know EoD modelled it too in his MP5 model kit. :P
Well this is good but I would have preferred a MP5 SD variant with maybe an EOTECH 552 or something like that.

If you are still gona stick with this model ( I presume you are )than my only request is that you add the tactical flashlight that's built into the fore grip on some versions like shown in the link above.

Suggestion: For multiplayer.. Make the weapons as classic and faithful as you can.

I think it would make more sense to use one of the MP5SDs instead of the MP5A2, as the MP5's SD variants has a fixed suppressor. The SD variants of the MP5 are what are often used in silent Black Operations, so it makes sense for the Black Operations in Operation: Black Mesa to use an MP5SD.
Also they are the coolest looking MP5 and submachine gun I think........
