Operation: Black Mesa is a total Source remake of Half Life: Opposing Force. Using the Source engine, the developers plan to recreate the Black Mesa research Facility as it was seen by Corporal Adrian Shephard of the H.E.C.U. Half-life: Opposing Force is still an amazing game, although it's not nearly as amazing as it was when it was released.

There are still a lot of placeholders, like that door which is from hl2; so I definitely agree with you ;)
Eventually it will all be custom content created specifically for each environment.

You should make the walls a bit more khaki imo.. Just to keep the classic feel. Also, you could put a bright and clean concrete texture on the pillars (which are placed in the walls).

All of these look great, but like some of the Guard Duty screenshots the surfaces look somewhat "cartoony". Not sure if that's covered under "work in progress," but if it isn't I would suggest making the walls, duct, and floor a little shinier, and adding some bump-mapping to the bricks.

I wonder if we're going to see an extensive weapons range in Boot Camp (when you can screw around with any weapon you want).

And I just had to wonder... were there any bathrooms in the Barracks? I didn't see any wandering around...
