Operation: Black Mesa is a total Source remake of Half Life: Opposing Force. Using the Source engine, the developers plan to recreate the Black Mesa research Facility as it was seen by Corporal Adrian Shephard of the H.E.C.U. Half-life: Opposing Force is still an amazing game, although it is not nearly as amazing as it was when it was released.

I doubt the road would have so many cracks in it, being in New Mexico, where there isn't constant expansion and contraction, so the roads wouldn't crack from the pressure.

Maybe the roads are old, and worn out from the sand....

Maybe it's the effect of the resonance cascade.

The cars look a bit like the Eastern European ones in HL2. Apart from that, it looks really well made.

strange cliffs, but i like your way of not-detailing the map, and make it look good anyway ;)

In new mexico the heat would probably make cracks in the roads because its so hot.

The models need to look new and shiny. Black mesa was a relatively clean facility in the original.
