Operation: Black Mesa is a total Source remake of Half Life: Opposing Force. Using the Source engine, the developers plan to recreate the Black Mesa research Facility as it was seen by Corporal Adrian Shephard of the H.E.C.U. Half-life: Opposing Force is still an amazing game, although it is not nearly as amazing as it was when it was released.
A few examples of the level design that has gone down since last time. Screens show various locations from several Opposing Force chapters.
DAMN THATS AWESOME
Otis don't try anything stupid now...
Hey i remember this are good job!
looks pretty sweet
Awesome! This is my fav part in Opposing Force!
wow this part was quite boring!
The Package was fun!
It's like...I don't even remember that part anymore in Source version. It's new, it's shiny and it's AWESOME!
I doubt the road would have so many cracks in it, being in New Mexico, where there isn't constant expansion and contraction, so the roads wouldn't crack from the pressure.
Maybe the roads are old, and worn out from the sand....
Maybe it's the effect of the resonance cascade.
SCIENCE!
maybe the the admin of black mesa was to bz focusing on doing science rather than repairing the road? besides, the admin of black mesa obviously dun care bout upgrading the structure. i mean, luk at the building! its a freaking shack!
The cars look a bit like the Eastern European ones in HL2. Apart from that, it looks really well made.
they are the hl2 ones, placeholder at the moment till we have some better ones modelled :)
The sky looks weird but, everything else looks good.
strange cliffs, but i like your way of not-detailing the map, and make it look good anyway ;)
In new mexico the heat would probably make cracks in the roads because its so hot.
Looking fantastic so far, all it needs is a 3d skybox and its perfect
The models need to look new and shiny. Black mesa was a relatively clean facility in the original.
