OpenCoop is a cooperative multiplayer modification for Doom³.
Up to 4 Players can fight over Lan or Internet the Id Software campaing, the Addon "Ressurection Of Evil" or one of 42 custommaps as InHell or ClassicDoom for example.
You can customise you playermodel with 13 individual heads and tint your amor over a colorslider.
Every player can pick up weapons and armor once. Collected health from medpacks or heathstations goes into a heathpool, where you take HP from when respawning after dying.
The AI got tweaked to act smarter with multiply attackers and the strength scales depending on the number of players.
In "Hellwave" gametype you fight against waves of monsters on the original DM maps or on one of 3 new custommaps.

man i wish i had this game but my comp cant really play it it can play it but on low res my video card is a ATI X1800 PRO but my whole comp is just sucky

Doom 3 was a suck game that looked pretty...this mod is entirelly worth the money to buy the game. I've been wanting a good action co op mod for a game for a while now and this is it on the game that had so much potential and let me down. My friend and I played doom 3 front to back in one sitting with this mod having fun with the levels trying not to chainsaw eachother to death. Only problem I saw was the targeting systems of the AI. They go after whomever player 1 was and at times, it was fun to exploit but you dont want to see a demon doing nothing but dancing right around infront of you ignoring you trying to kill your friend who's alraedy at the end of the level. VERY VERY nice work but still need a bit of tweakin on ammo and health..maybe even lower the weapon damage a bit, made bosses way to easy.
