For the first time since 2006, OA3's engine now works on Windows 95 again!
Also, early console is back!
Achievement unlocked: Superawesome legacy support.
Great job, nevertheless. I totally forgot the game originally even had it until this screenshot.
The last time it could run in 95 was probably 2006. the ipv6+Winsock2 support broke it along the way soon after, and some XP-era processes function just to check if it's running or not.
So I:
- slipped in ReactOS's wspiapi.h, since the real wspiapi.h from the microsoft platform SDK is a superantifreedom(C)Microsoft file
- dropped -lpsapi out of the makefile, and LoadLibrary'd+GetProc'd that stuff instead (it was for one function rofl)
- Restored this console window since it was missing for many many versions and i missed it. It's an id tech 3 staple, it served a purpose under Windows and is more useful and informative than a popup box that asks you to copy to clipboard.
