open Outcast should become a free unofficial successor of the Action-Adventure Outcast (by Appeal). Therefore we are creating a total conversion of Crysis Wars.
Story Teaser
Cutter has departed, and everything is far from perfect on Adelpha.
Without their godlike leader in the form of Kazar, and liberated from the oppression they faced under Fae Rhan, the talans attempt to organise their own society - this doesn't happen without conflict, and with Sidestep 2 launched, the situation can only get worse. On top of that, unseen, another puppetmaster pulls the strings.
Only one man can handle this: the Ulukai himself! Cutter will step into the String Tunnelling Device once again, and discover the truth behind an ancient mystery...

We’re getting there, open Outcast fans! We've just started testing our first internal builds of our upcoming CryEnginge 3 demo to make sure that everything is released into a brilliant and polished package. Some CryEngine 3 screenshots can be found below.
Adelpha looks better than ever this time around!
The internal test builds still need some work before we will be able to publish our work – expect a few more weeks before the newest release will hit “Gold” status and we can present it to you guys! This time around you'll face some resistance during your adventure. This means that you can measure your strength against some AI foes and finally put that UZA-SH2 into some real use! Oh yeah, one more thing… look forward to see us rebranded with a completely new image as a celebration to our CryEngine 3 port.
This is also why we are really looking out now for a web designer – and if that web designer is also a web developer, even better! Check out the job description here!
Have a great, cold winter! The Talan don’t really enjoy the snow though…
Keep a look out for more information somewhere around February. Things will get quite interesting around that time… ( if not… well, “Zort!”).

I'm at a loss as to how I missed this mod's development for SO long. Outcast is one of the greatest games I ever played. That title was, and continues to be a STUNNING achievement, and it certainly looks like you're giving it your all to (somehow) top it. Good for you, and good for anyone who has never experienced Outcast's wonderful worlds.

Have the regular version. (1.1) So this should be fixed!? but cant load it.
Awesome Mod. But one thing, i can´t load my savegame. :/
Savegames should be disabled in the torrent patch and regular download, this is because they were causing issues with persistence and other features.
Also,i really wish there was some kind of a monster that blocks you if you go too far into the desert.

There's a possible bug involving pots breaking and not counting to your total, you'll have to try reloading the game (from the start) unfortunately.
I can't find it either...it's not on any rooftop or highplace I've seen

there is a possible bug where the pots fall off and break, you may be able to get past it by setting your graphics to low.
