Past 2 weekends worth of work on the mod. Still Wip, could change depending on the comments but we will see. The past few maps I have been making have been made in a way that has a lot of areas dedicated to exploration while still keeping the maps linear. I also have recently changed the compiler to Vluzacn's one for better lighting.
Always glad to see an update here :) . Very good work, I like the overall design and the windows on the left. Some suggestions would be to change the texture on the right with another one (maybe it's just me, but I always use this texture in restrooms :) ) and add some big lights on the ceiling (not necessarily lit). Just some recommendations though, the map is beautiful as it is.
I assume these levels will be less action oriented, since they are about exploration. I really like these kind of levels where you just walk around, solve some puzzles and 'relax' a bit from all the action. Also, nice to hear that you've changed your compilers to Vluzacn's ones, they are far better than anything else out there.
Keep going!
Indeed lovely screenshot you've got there. As for the wall recommendation regarding the rest room texture. Normally I would agree but I somehow like it. Adds a neat atmosphere to the room.
But explore if you may find something even more suiting for it if not keep it as it is. There's one thing regarding the wall to the right. What's that little object sticking ot in front of it. Seems higher than the rest of the walls below the segment which leads to the toilet wall.
If it's a light brush better remove it and apply the light texture to the wall brush itself just carve it into 2 pieces. It might look better than having the light sticking out unnatural looking. At least from this angle you can't tell what it is therefore it's no so good.
It's the light, sorry it is hard to see from this angle so I will probably change that thanks.
