OSMT v.1.5 Beta is being tested publicly at the UnrealPlayground forums (OSMT subforum). Progress towards a significant update has continued behind the scenes on and off now since the release of v.1.4 (way back at the end of 2006!).
When I say significant, I'm talking about bug fixing and improvements to aspects such as Follow behavior & combat AI, more realistic gore, as well as new stock creatures, a flashlight system, and a few extra goodies I'm not revealing at the moment. The 1.5 version is planned to be the final installment of this mod, a haymaker finishing move before I move on to UT3 finally.
Those wishing to take part in testing the improvements and new features already implemented should head over to UnrealPlayground forums and post a "me too!" on this thead. There you can also check out the extensive list I posted of new things to test. There is an official OSMT beta testing thread within the OSMT subforum that will continue to be used as a depository of all the tester comments.
Tentative plan is to use this public testing in a final push to complete OSMT v.1.5 by end of the year. Old Skool Monsta Toolz is the UT2004 toolset for implementing complex AI in any gametype, including a custom gametype (OSM Adventure) that allows for singleplayer and cooperative story-driven adventures, or even whole new game prototypes.
