cool! Will you replace some unit voices, as well? Because the Mandalorian fighters sometimes say "for the Empire" ^^ would be cool if they'd say "for Mandalore" or something similar. You could mix the Two Steps From Hell music with some original Star Wars music, too because it's a LucasArts Game anyway (some of SWToR eg).
Yeah, you may prefer two steps from hell geroenimo but it's still a star wars game and needs a star wars feel and music.
He could take the "For Mandalore"! sound from the first KotOR video game...
Looks like you had your hands full for a second there but I guess we'll see in pt. 2. I like the new shield deflection particles very cool, so are you in alpha or moving closer to beta because aside from filling in descriptions into the the units and stations the mod looks like its nearing a Beta version at least. Can't wait to take on the Republic as the Sith or Mandolorians hopefully it won't be too long but I'm willing to wait for at least a year or even longer if need be.
The project is indeed moving towards beta, though as stated a lot of things need fine tuning, unit descriptions being the least.
@Excision: This may be a mod for a star wars game, but this mod is my vision of an enjoyable game. So far people seemed to really like what I have and am creating, and as long as people continue to enjoy my vision for what this game needs to be I'll continue to do things my way, star wars like or otherwise. Though know that I do take feetback into consideration and I also appreciate it.

Very easy thing to do, just rename your music files to match the names of mine, and replace the files themselves afterwards, then the mod will play your own music.

actually now that you mention it it seems that the more important hardpoints should be able to take more damage. In a lot of the videos you've posted I've seen that the shield generator is your and the enemies primary target and since the hardpoints are so weak they are almost instantly destroyed and once that shield generator goes the rest of the ship goes with it pretty quickly. So would it be possible or for that matter a good idea to increase the hp's on the Hardpoints such as Engines,shield generators and heavy weapons like heavy turbolasers and such. And tone the damage down on concussion missles they wreck a ship before the other ship can respond in kind. ^_^ wow thats some rant.
Hardpoint health (weapons only) range from 150 health (light laser cannons) to 500 (heavy turbolasers) and they can take quite long to destroy, especially if you have several hardpoints on one ship, which as you can see is the case.
Shield generator and engine health is mostly 600+
Oh ok I guess it must jus be my perception of the damage.but yeah those concussion missles are nasty epecially on the Basilisk War droids rocket ability
Those are cluster missiles, not concussion. A concussion missile hits for 60, a cluster only hits for 3.
This is probably a modification that I will keep playing until the day I die.
