What is Office Shift?

You've played the stories of Dr. Gordon Freeman, a theoretical physicist at Black Mesa Research Facility, Barney Calhoun, a security officer at Black Mesa Research Facility, and Adrian Shephard, a soldier with the Hazardous Environment Combat Unit. All of these stories have taken place in and around Black Mesa. But what happened outside Black Mesa?

Office Shift fills in a part of that story.

Minutes after the incident, legions of Xen life forms are teleported to the small city of Jefferson, New Mexico, not far from Black Mesa. H.E.C.U. forces immediately respond to contain the situation and prevent further damage in the city.

Are the marines here to protect you or to eliminate you? You are new hire at the Jefferson Shipping company as an average 9 to 5 officer worker caught in the middle of the conflict. Having never fired a weapon before nor retaining any survival skills, you are the wrong man in the right place. Get out alive, if you can.
