Nox Aeterna is a psychological/survival horror mod with emphasis on sound design, realism, atmosphere and environmental storytelling.
The first character that made it out of my mind and onto paper. I named him Branko and so far I don't know much about him, other than that he likes to live in a secluded basement where no one can bother him. Which is probably for the best since he doesn't respond well to other human beings.

Actually, he doesn't need to wear something more warm since he never leaves the basement (hence the blind eyes). He feeds on rats and survivors that are unlucky enough to stay the night near the basement.
Doesn't seem like he'd be much of a challenge for a Combine Solider.
At least... not face to face in a well-lit room.
You won't really have a weapon to defend your self with, when you meet this fine fellow in a dark basement.
Frankly that sounds terrifying. The idea of being trapped in a mazelike structure with some awful semi-person in there with you, even if you are a Transhuman tank, is quite unnerving.
Can't wait to see where this goes.
This reminds me a lot like Amnesia, only you're in the Half Life universe :P
Judging by the anatomical structure, he seriously doesn't seem that threating. I think it might work if he uses surroundings to his advantage, for example, building traps and sneaking behind.
Actually, using shadows, atmosphere and sounds without actually showing him would make a much more mysterious and suspensful situation.
