Hey everyone. Now that the model of the Cypress 9mm is complete I shall begin animating in the next few days! Again I would like to thank haawok for coming up with the name, I personally think that it suits the mod very well and has a nice ring to it.
I would like to ask you all what weapon you would like to see created next!
So far there are four different options:
Considering the name of the SMG helped me with the overall look of the gun I would love to hear more name ideas for the weapons mentioned above so I can design them fittingly.
Thanks for all the support you guys (and gals) have given. You're awesome!

The walls actually remind me a bit of Doom, not sure why, perhaps there were walls with those sort of shapes in Doom. But look very nice and original.
Just one thing, please add some really nice background audio. That sort of soft and quiet air conditioning/electrical hum is really nice, with a few soundspots (point sounds? whatever they are called :P )at various points with vents. I've always felt it adds just as much to the overall atmosphere as much as the graphics/lighting.
Sounds interesting, looking forward to seeing what you can do with sci-fi agent00kevin :P
Why thanks Raider :) Happy Holidays to you and everyone else.
And Im still working on my other Mod, but its been put on hold by my HDD failure. Its not a true failure, but stuck in the BSY state which renders it a brick until it can be fixed. Its not difficult to do, but does requite a TTL adapter whch I do not posess at this time. Unless I can dig up the reciept, Im left to do the repair on my own.
Ok, I couldnt help it. I reworked the wall textures since after reworking the door textures, they were boring and monotonous. Ive also added some bumpmapping to the textures to give the illusion of depth between the panels.
I have, unfortunately, suffered a minor setback. The HDD containing the crew quarters areas is currently bricked, though it does still spin. Its got the Seagate 7000.11 bug, where it gets stuck in the BSY state. IF I can dig up the reciept they will provide a new HDD and free data recovery. If not, I will be forced to attempt a fix myself and/or rebuild what I had created. Luckily, I keep mutiple hard drives in the PC and spread the work out between them. Unluckily, I didnt backup the work on the one that died.
Fortunately, most of this Mod is stored on another disk, and I could continue with minor loss. All acreens posted today are obviously on the good disk - I just lost one particular level, and not much of it was even built yet. I believe that within one hard days work I can be back where I was before. I WILL be backing this up on a disk that remains unconnected to the PCs unless Im putting something on it. It stays in a fire safe, so it would take a nuke to get rid of that data.
I LIKE MOD
jhonfreemens is legend!
Err, looks okay, I'm gonna be your tenth tracker!
Looks interesting, tracking :D
Looks cool tracking (:
The screens Ive posted today are ONLY for showing the new textures. Some need aligned, some lights need tweaked, and the envirnoments are generally bare still. I am simply showing the new textures and look of the Mod after the total revamp, nothing more. I have nearly 150 custom textures created and many many more coming, so these screens are barely the tip of the iceberg.
