A few screens to illustrate some drastic changes I have made to the 'Labwork' chapter. New floor textures, added detail, and a drastic redesign of the structural supports.
Looks fantastic!
Outstanding screen set ! Those redesigned support structures and lighting alone give this area a whole new dynamic look !
That's fantastic!
No, really. That mod is getting more and more interesting.
I'm so looking forward to play it!
*Thumbs up*
Massive Improvement
mmm... White walls..
looks tasty, nice job ;)
great job dude!!!
these hallways do look SO MUCH better as they did before, a real improvement!!!!
and don't bother some people who say you use stuff from other mods. you will always keep those, they just say stuff without first checking there facts. i have had my share of such comments on my mods, and why they always say you steel stuff is a real mystery to me.
just let it be, we know it's not the case and that should be enough.
although it does make you mad, i know...
GREAT WORK!!!
leon
Thank you :)
And yeah, Ive noticed people tend to do that; it doesnt so much make me angry as much as it annoys me. I dont want potential players thinking I am taking assets from other Mods, and stuff like that might make them think that I am. While I didnt make the weapon myself, it is a heavily modified (by me) custom weapon made for CSS and ported to the Half Life 2 engine. (and I do have permission to use it) It has not appeared in other Mods to the best of my knowlege and definitely is not from Neo Tokyo, which this guy seems to be obsessed with. I got it straight from the team that made it, after requesting permission to use it.
Dude, that is really way better than the ones before. I really didn't like the fact of the old images having some dark centered hallways, that was really bad but now it really looks good. I can't think on a way to make it better right now...

Thanks. I just mean, it's bad enough some mods are ripping models and even animations from other mods(Zombie Mod), but they're mostly going unnoticed by the community at large. DBD is gaining a large amount of interest and people are constantly praising him for work that he did not do, and even the way he presents his stolen work is sub-par...
The only reason it's so freaking popular is because L4D has grown stale due to waiting for updates and whatnot for so long, so people just want anything that's half decent. I can't understand how people could even enjoy something like that, I mean sure, it'd be cool to play those old movies, but the whole time, I'd be thinking "Stolen work", and find it not fun due to that. It's just how I am.

Your Moddb profile page doesnt help your argument at all guy. I read 8 pages of people calling you a troll, and especially this post.
You accuse me of taking Models then make comparasins to other Mods. You say you are tracking it for a reason. Well, since you thought I stole models, and my mod resembles at least two others, how could you enjoy it with the above post?
This is the Internet. Anything you say CAN and WILL be used against you...
:P
whoa Kevin, stop responding to that dude, whatever the deal is. Its taking up too much of your time on that..
I looked at more pix, I wanted to ask, how much do we need to deposit to get on a shuttle to this lab ?! =oP
I dont think I could quite afford NASA's $20,000,000 fee to get on-board the space station for a few days so, lol
Agreed :) I said my piece, well, many pieces heheh.
NovaCor handles all expenses in your relocation to the Station providing contracts and all of the neccesary paperwork has been signed and approved.
(I wouldnt suggest it though)
:D
I dont know what bothered me on the old textures and designs, but I can tell that I love these! Kepp the good work up!
Holy crap I need more.
Massive amount of win detected.
