Normandy '44: European Theater combines a higher level of realism with a more elaborate doctrine system, which incorporates almost 50 different military units that took part in the period of Jun-Sept 1944. This spectrum ranges from divisions of free Polish and French units serving under the main allied armies to volunteers from the Eastern Front that served in the German Wehrmacht. This is only a small portion of the doctrine variety however, as we feature numerous well known units of all factions as well. The mod also features numerous new abilities and custom made units each with a completely revamped size and structure. Between custom made units and structures with historically correct skins, Normandy '44 offers over 150 NEW UNITS, making for an almost endless variety of different scenarios and unit actions. Combined these factors provide for an experience unlike any other mod for CoH!

Besides the terrible performance lags and glitches i see that majority of units are still missing texture, maybe once it reaches at least playable Beta this might turn out a decent mod.

There are currently only two units in N'44 that are missing textures. There must have been an issue with your installation. The performance level of N'44 is very different from any other COH MOD. With the subdoctrine system we've added over a 150 new units each with their own correlating variety of skins, which will hamper any gaming rig to perform on max settings since every possible skin for each faction must be loaded when starting a game. So between the loading of the skins and textures for your chosen faction and that of your opponents, will greatly wear on any standard amount of memory. If you look into your installation issue and reduce your performance settings, you should be able to enjoy N'44 and all of it's in depth aspects.

How can you have issue with your "installation" when you just cut and paste files to your CoH directory and create a shortcut?
Also after a fresh new install all the buildings too are now missing textures.

And while it seems that reducing texture quality has a drastic improvement on performance and seems to fix most of the textures still it would be a whole lot easier regarding gameplay if you could UNLOAD your men from vehicles and buildings.

Was your reinstall the large file we just posted on MODDB? I'd try that. Not sure why your downloaded files aren't complete. There are ONLY two missing textures in N'44 at this point, the halftrack with the mounted rocket launcher and the dead 82nd AB bodies, everything else is in there. Also the hotkey for exiting vehicles/buildings in ANY coh mode is "D". We currently don't have a button for it on the unit interface but the unit's do respond to the hot key. Hope this helps.
