Yea the hand placement is strange. But I rly think the scope zoom needs to be lessened a little. I thought it was just an opaque texture, until he placed it over the orange storm trooper.
Do you think you could remove the hand grip? In real life, hand grips are usually not used on large m16s, but rather on the smaller and automatic carbines like the m4. The reason for this is because the m16 is a semi-auto/burst weapon which means it generates minimum recoil when compared to the larger kickback of the automatic m4. To me, it would give it more of a realistic feel as well as better look because it does look a little wierd with the grip on the m16.
Maxx is correct. I'm in the Marine Corps and they issue foregrips for the M16 weapon system. You have an option to use it, though, or use a different kind of foregrip.
looks cool but too me the kickback animation looks like it goes off a bit too late I'm not sure if it was due to me having bad internet at the time but that's what it seems to me
With handgrip this m16 locks more tactical =) - btw, handgrip is a standart equipment of SWAT teams. With handgrip much more easyer control rifle.
So this m16 look realistic.
Keep in mind the charging handle only has to be pulled when a magazine is first inserted into a M16 series weapon. Afterwards, you can simply swap mags or hit the bolt release on the left side of the weapon. The bolt catches to the rear when the magazine is empty, removing the need to pull the charging handle.
The forward assist is there to completely close the bolt if it doesn't close all the way. When you need to, you hit it with the palm of your hand and a rod-like thing will catch on to some teeth that are on the bolt and push it forward so it is properly seated.
wow, almost all of my suggestions were already stated. But there is one more thing... You should change the red dot to the one of the two common trijicon crosshairs.
Looks great!
Wow! I like the ammo checking. But I think the info about the ammo should disappear a second after the reload and the ammo check.
I agree and this is being adjusted.
when he's/she's holding the weapon, i think the left arm is kinda off ( that's just me though)
The hand placement on the gun makes it seem very awkward.

If I'm correct this is the Red Dot Scope, therefore they have a mild zoom.(Not the Red Dot(reflex sights) sights you see in MW2)
The scope is a Trijicon ACOG and is more likely at x4 magnification.
ParagonPie is correct!
Finally someone who knows about guns! i got on here to point out the hand placement as well but i see its already being taken care of..

its a m16a4.
Every M16 I've used had a front grip on it, and All the references I gathered for US Marines/Army with it, over half had the front grip installed.

The only animation I would redo is the ammo check. The rest of the animations I would definitely keep.
Perhaps try changing the first person perspective around to see if that might make it look better.
I dont like the finger movement and positions..
Referring to the hand grip, look at COD:MW2's version for reference.

We know, but these animations are all works in progress and are still being touched up. Thanks though!
Not really sure what it does, but what about the forward assist on the right of the gun?

unless everybody has shot an m16 with a grip i dont think you should be complaining the animations are beautiful.
i think it would look better without grip tbh but im a rere so wat do i know lolz
Is it just me or is the gun huge? O_o The animations are nice (gj Sn1pe) but when he pulls out the mag it looks more like a .50 Barret mag.
where are the shells?
maybe a bit more recoil instead of it replacing back into the center maybe?
