So 1.08 is set is planned to come out later tonight if testing goes well. For those of you who can't wait a few hours we have a beta branch live up on steam which you can find out how to access here

While you wait we've compiled a list of a few features you can expect to see with this update.

New Official Maps

We've had a number of requests for new objective maps so for this update we've included 3 brand new objective maps: nmo_Brooklyn, nmo_Cleopas & nmo_Zephyr. Also for those survival mode fans out there we've included the survival map nms_Midwest.

New Characters

We're happy to show the three new additions to the NMRiH character family: Butcher, Badass & Roje! It's been a long time in the making and we still have a few potential characters in the works but those of you who've been following us a while know we run on ValveTime.

New Weapon - FN FAL

Even with the large number of other content features we've managed to include a brand new weapon to the game the FN FAL.

New Difficulty Modes

Difficulty modes has been on our todo list for a while. Finally we've got a new "Casual" mode for players who want an easier play experience with Unlimited respawning and faster/improved respawn token system. We only made one small change to the "Classic Mode" survival game type, which is that respawn tokens persist between waves.

New Voice Sets

A very special thanks goes out to Pugman & Chippants of PugmanPlays. They created a two player lets play a little while ago (which you can watch here) and we liked it so much we decided to get in contact with them. Long story short they recorded our two newest voicesets!

Reading negative comments on steam about this pile of **** mod is always funny and educating even more than the good replys. So every punkass manchild *** out there whos afraid of critisism- suck this speech into your lowlife world.

''This mod is like taking a **** , then putting that **** into a computer, analyzing the ****, then making a game based off of that ****. this game ******* sucks. if you like 1999 graphics and terrible controls along with the ****** gameplay, then this is the game for you, good luck wasting your time looser''

Feedback, good or bad, is still feedback. That's why we all take the time to read the Steam Forums and our ModDB page to see what we're doing right and more importantly, doing wrong. Some of them have valid points and arguments (the others are fun to read).

Otherwise I personally think we did something right if people still play and talk about our ****** mod after 3 years of its initial release. Better to be talked about, than to not be talked about at all.

Yeah well here is the kicker in the nuts Smiley, the fact that YOU DONT want to change the mod is what makes it garbage in other words waste of times and defently boring (same maps same weapons same **** same animation SAME ******* terrible GAMEPLAY along with controls) Grant it this is a half life engine mod so you cant expect nothing huge from it but as you say 3 years has gone past and nothing huge has been changed. Project is still in one place after 3 ******* years and yet **** is the same. No wonder you find in thoes negative comments the words **** all the time. Same **** here same **** there **** and **** everywhere, maps and the rest of the features along with the gameplay are the same. The theme gets boring with everyday and year. So go ahead and give the shout-out propaganda about this mod that its fine and dandy or what not to the little ''kids'' who like your mod but the fact is a fact. Its made by ignorant ******** that blunt the reality of changing thats why you reply to my comment, you dont want to take any negative sensable citisim to your mod there for you reply in excuses followed by a bounch of THAT is more comical than your intake about reading critisism on steam comments. Congrats there bud you just named yourself as a huge shallow pumpass.

For anyone who wants to play this mod good luck, hopefully you dont need beer to down the ******* terrible gameplay and controls along with critisim.

Not really going to bite, but I will point out that a huge base of hl2 mod players don't all have new computers.

I'm personally glad that people are still supporting the hl2 community with great player created games.

So if you don't like the game don't play it, there will still be many players like me that love hl2 and appreciate the work of NMRIH and other modders. So I guess I must be a ...... looser*

But at least I know how to spell loser.

I first heard about this mod on a very recent PC Gamer (US) podcast and as a zombie entertainment enthusiast couldn't pass it up looking in to it. I have been through the available maps, on the few servers that pop up in the server list, and this is a fantastic zombie mod because it will make you concerned by zombies again and not just because the ammo is sparse. The zombies are tough to put down with anything less than hit to their dome. Its often better to try to run past the zombies than engage…
