No More Room in Hell is created by a mix of newbie, indie, and industry developers. For some it is a hobby and for others it is experience in developing a game with other people. We do not get paid cash from the work we put into it, but we do get paid in experience, portfolios, and being part of a fun project.

Unfortunately our time to work on the mod is limited due to our daily lives and jobs. The more help we get, the better and faster we can make NMRiH. We have added several community members to the team who made maps and other content. So why not you!? With your help we can make our Steam release more content and feature complete and sooner. Our game is still in the beta stages which means it is still lacking in some departments. Things like character models and custom animations for example.

With that said, we are putting out the call for contributors. If you or a friend are looking to get into game design on a level of hobby, indie, or all the way to becoming an industry professional, then modding is the place to start. We are in need of:

- CHARACTER ARTISTS:

To help us create more player character choices, modular zombies for variety, and corpses/other NPCs

- PROP MODELERS:

To help us create content ranging from objective items, to military/civilian vehicles, street lights, dumpsters, furniture and more

- ANIMATORS:

To help us create new amazing animations for all the zombies, players, children, National Guard and more

- LEVEL DESIGNERS:

To help us create more maps for our Objective mode and planned modes in the future

- TEXTURE ARTISTS:

To help us create environment textures for our level designers to use to help the game look more unique, original and to cut down on the Half-Life 2 content of which there is still some being used

To apply for the team, simply post a thread in our forums: Nomoreroominhell.com

Don’t have time to be part of the team? Have a character model or other art assets you would like to contribute? Just e-mail us at contact@nmrih.com or let us know on our forums: Nmrih.com - You will have your work immortalized in the game and your name added to the contributors list on our site.

ok I just watched the m9 animations demo, you got a lot right, but the gun needs to stay sturdy while reloading, I mean, awesome animations, but don't have the gun move around just to show how detailed the animations are, you should drop the mag out insert new mag and hit slide release in a single fluid motion while NEVER taking your sights off of your intended target *IE not move the gun around looking at it, this has always baffled me about FPS's* I have no military training and I can reload a Taurus P247 in half the time of that m9 reload, and my friend who go shooting with, I am the slowest reloader in the group. But for their CHL's *Concealed Handgun License* they were taught to NEVER remove your sights from your intended target.

Hey guys just want to say that I'm a huge fan of NMRIH and have been following up on it for a couple years now and just wanted to wish you guys luck and was gonna ask a couple questions,

1. This is kinda random but i agreed with your statement from the audio update about your fav. zombie movie being Day of the Dead (1985 Version), its also one of my favorites, but my favorite weapon from those Romero Zombie films and all around favorite gun has been the good old M16A1 Vietnam Version with the Triangular foregrip not the A2 with the round foregrip and the 20 round short clip. Was just wondering if you plan on adding any assault rifles and if possibly that was a possible weapon idea?, I would **** myself if i saw that gun available in the armory.

2. I remember seeing Darth_Brush's Dawn of the Dead (2004 Version) Crossroads Mall in the NMRIH maps, I thought that was originally designed for this mod and was just wondering if its still included in the mod? -Forgive me if this has already been discussed in a different thread.

Hey, thanks for the support!

The M16A1 unfortunately is not currently lined up in our aresenal.. But you never know maybe down the road we'll add it in ;)

As for Darth Brush's Crossroads Mall, he's been turning it in to a lengthy Left 4 Dead campaign and though I'm no fan of L4D, you should check it out as he and a few other people have made it quite the spectacle and should be very good when released. He may be returning to our team once that project is complete, though :)

Awesome, and yeah I've noticed that hes making it a L4D campaign now. Another reason why the M16A1 would make a perfectly balanced assault rifle is that the clip has a low capacity so fully automatic would be a waste of ammunition and semi auto it is extremely accurate and best suited in Urban environments, plus the ammunition is very light and easily found around the United States due to our Military. Also heres a link to a skin I've had for a long time to a Vietnam M16A1 for the FAMAAS in CS Source so maybe this could be of help, Fpsbanana -Search up "Colt M16a1 Redux v2", -Link wouldnt copy fully

And Thanks again Maxx and the rest of the NMRIH team good luck and "good shooting" -no such thing as nice shooting :Land of the Dead

Well Im convinced this mod is back-on-track.

I was kind of sad when you guys disappeared for a while, and I was a bit worried that the influx of zombie mods had run you out of town.

But your back now and I'm seriously excited about your mod. You seem to have take a unique direction with the mod, and have gone for a much more plausible scale.

Anydangway, I wish you the best of luck, and I hope I get to see your guys finished product in the future.

[nmrihdev]-Maxx Sep 9 2009, 6:26pm replied:

Right now they are nonlinear and quasi "open world" but in a smaller scale. Players start alone and must find others. Right now there are no "missions" aside from surviving, collecting gear, and making it to the rescue helicopter when it arrives (both the time and location of this are randomized).

This simple game mode, once solidified and completed, will allow us to make any new game mode we want on top of it without much trouble. Keeping it simple makes our lives easier in the long run ;)

I first heard about this mod on a very recent PC Gamer (US) podcast and as a zombie entertainment enthusiast couldn't pass it up looking in to it. I have been through the available maps, on the few servers that pop up in the server list, and this is a fantastic zombie mod because it will make you concerned by zombies again and not just because the ammo is sparse. The zombies are tough to put down with anything less than hit to their dome. Its often better to try to run past the zombies than engage…
