No More Room in Hell is created by a mix of newbie, indie, and industry developers. For some it is a hobby and for others it is experience in developing a game with other people. We do not get paid cash from the work we put into it, but we do get paid in experience, portfolios, and being part of a fun project.
Unfortunately our time to work on the mod is limited due to our daily lives and jobs. The more help we get, the better and faster we can make NMRiH. We have added several community members to the team who made maps and other content. So why not you!? With your help we can make our Steam release more content and feature complete and sooner. Our game is still in the beta stages which means it is still lacking in some departments. Things like character models and custom animations for example.
With that said, we are putting out the call for contributors. If you or a friend are looking to get into game design on a level of hobby, indie, or all the way to becoming an industry professional, then modding is the place to start. We are in need of:
To help us create more player character choices, modular zombies for variety, and corpses/other NPCs
To help us create content ranging from objective items, to military/civilian vehicles, street lights, dumpsters, furniture and more
To help us create new amazing animations for all the zombies, players, children, National Guard and more
To help us create more maps for our Objective mode and planned modes in the future
To help us create environment textures for our level designers to use to help the game look more unique, original and to cut down on the Half-Life 2 content of which there is still some being used
To apply for the team, simply post a thread in our forums: Nomoreroominhell.com
Don’t have time to be part of the team? Have a character model or other art assets you would like to contribute? Just e-mail us at contact@nmrih.com or let us know on our forums: Nmrih.com - You will have your work immortalized in the game and your name added to the contributors list on our site.

I first heard about this mod on a very recent PC Gamer (US) podcast and as a zombie entertainment enthusiast couldn't pass it up looking in to it. I have been through the available maps, on the few servers that pop up in the server list, and this is a fantastic zombie mod because it will make you concerned by zombies again and not just because the ammo is sparse. The zombies are tough to put down with anything less than hit to their dome. Its often better to try to run past the zombies than engage…

can you see your legs (in the game)?
Unfortunately the way Source does... Everything... Makes this very, very hard to do. We have the code to do it, and it works, but the problem is that it is really buggy and Source is unreliable like that, so we are currently not using it.
Will this be avalible to create your own server and play agienst enemy bots
Yep
And yes, I was hit by a car it was one of the worst experiences of my life. Thanks for your sympathy, by the way.
I started the mod from scratch in January 2009 and was full swing by February/March 2009. The mod had been dead since about summer/fall 2008 and there was basically nothing done at that point, nothing playable to show after all that time. So when I took over, I thought the easiest thing to do would be to scrap everything and start fresh, and so far it's worked splendidly.
You can take your Negative Nancy attitude and bounce around our ModDB boards if you really have nothing better to do, but that doesn't make you any less of an idiot.
I like how you question the knowledge of the development team without even bothering to do some research yourself. The mod has been around for a long time fair enough but it was canned about 1.5/2 years ago. Then about half a year later Maxx a member from the old development team restarted the whole project with pretty much a whole new team. We started completely from scratch and have been hard at work for around 1/1.5 years now.
Also you view on modding is completely wrong, we don't create mods to one up each other, we do it because we want to create the sort of games we want to play. Therefore I don't see why you would want to create conflict between two mods it is just retarded on your behalf.
Personally if you don't like the mod please feel free not to download it (when it is released). Also feel free to stop wasting out time with retarded comment when personally judging by your posts I really could care less for your opinion. Maybe if you offered some ways in which you would like to see the mod improved then I might be inclined to respect your comments.
Your obviously just here to cause some **** xdcmasterx, and if you don't like how the mod has progressed then why are you still here? Mods are free, take it or leave it. Not like you've actually spent any money on it or in fact donated in any way shape or form. So if you would kindly **** off, or at the very least stop viewing your own arsehole as a source of information.
I like you.
Yet Im part of the development team.... but if you say 5 years, who cares. Rising looks like a great looking mod, some people go for graphical taste, others go for the great gameplay. I think both mods will both have great outcomes. Theres will have stuff that isnt that great, and so will NMRiH.
