The No More Room in Hell mod is a total conversion modification for the game Half-Life 2. It pits a small group of human players against a overwhelming horde of undead, flesh eating zombies. The mod takes place in a small mid-western city in the United States. There, the humans must try to escape the city alive by any means necessary. This means that the use of vehicles will be crucial to survival against the undead.
The mod is co-op, which means that you will be playing side by side with other people from around the world to fight the zombies, which are computer controlled NPCs. Because the mod is using Half-Life 2's Source gaming engine, we hope to make this one of the scariest and most frightening mods to date.
In this modification we plan to use the full extent of Half-Life 2's physics for ultimate game play. To put this in example form we have plans for a wooden bat that will break after heavy use. We also plan on taking advantage of the advanced map sizes for large cities and open areas, even though most the game is planned to be urban combat.

We're back in action! That's right, The No More Room In Hell
team is moving full steam ahead with progress of the mod. Our staff has been putting many hours into the content that is now filling up our builds. At this current moment we have caught up to, and then passed the progress of the "old builds" of our mod that were revealed over a year ago to everyone. Sound confusing? Here's a quick and simple explanation:
After revealing the in-game screenshots from our "old builds" over a year ago, the team went through some hard times. FTP hijacking, hard drive crashes, and team members leaving forced the progress of the mod into a recession. All of that changed once we found new dedicated staff members. Our old code was completely redone to make it much more efficient and stable. This means that we had to take our game code and build it from the ground up (again). Once that was complete, we began to add our content back into the new builds. Now we have stable developer builds being released on a weekly basis that are featuring more and more content, and of course new items are being made and implemented as well! We are confident enough at this point to release some new media as well as bits of news to you guys. But first...

Release something. Now.
Everyone's getting impatient, and nobody's going to think it's shit if you release something small. Maybe a little one-level romp. A tease, if you must, something playable so we know you're making progress.

I was just wondering, is there going to be fast zombies? Im not talking like jogging zombies, but sprinting ones? Like the infected people in "I am Legend" ?
yes this game looks like its guna hit the top:D i hope its getting close to done i wish i could help out but im not so good on the programming end but ill support it forever it seems to be the only hl2 zombie mod that actually looks good all the others have very little zombies in them and thats just nothing even remotely close to a good zombie exoperience from wat ive seen so far this mod looks great:P im hopeing very much that theres guna be a ton of zombies so its not too repetitive and u can actually get surrounded by a crowd of them otherwise i just run circles around them and lose interest.... so hopefully its wat the hype says but keep up the good work:D
P.s. Mods rarely fail its the people who make them that do they dont have the time or get fed up with it or it doesnt turn out like they want etc. but please dont fail u have potential:D:D:D:D:D oh and dont mind my name i kno im dumb lol:P:P:P sorry for the paragraph just expresing my thought on the matter:P \/,, oh and he's right keep the files off the net until its done or ur probly guna get hacked again lol

Has NMRiH been leaked for real? The forums have been fucked methinks. I sincerely hope that the mod won't die because of it.
its just garbage and extra files from the site nothing to wet urself about the guy that did it almost killed the mod and put it on hold for awhile while they had to deal with secuirity issues if it happens again the mod might get dropped which will be sad:(
It's definitely been leaked and the forums are down. Shit. If they've stopped production on the mod I'll be mega uber pissed *Nerdrage*
easier said then done but itd be a cool thought if they could implement it into the mod most full games even do that so they can finish in time or to save from work and bugs, etc. but cool idea:D
yes ive posted alot i know:P but ive been waiting and waiting and waiting for it lol just lets all pray it dont die and give nmrih our support its rare to even see a good zombie game whether its a mod or not
